Nice work and great cause. Stay strong Jared and family! -
With the problems with this draw, I wouldn't be so confident with any manner of applying. Check, money order or CC. The problem lies beyond the money issue. The draw and computer systems themselves are screwed up.

Has anyone with max points for a specific hunt "not" been charged yet? I know of one guy that based on last year should have been guaranteed a tag for this year; he hasn't been charged yet. The wife applied for a cow hunt and also should have been in the max pool for it. This whole process has gotten me to scratch my head this year. I feel for those poor folks if they are having to manually charge each card one by one. You know they won't have a production line of folks doing it; probably only a few folks making the charges.

Love this pack for early season elk hunting. Light weight and holds a fair amount of stuff. I've thought about selling mine before but I'd rather have it!

Next Months Raffle Item....From The Arizona Deer Association....Updated...

What a sweet raffle! -
I agree with you Bill. What would it take to get the law changed in AZ to allow them to make the instant charge upfront? A friend of mind made a comment recently about going completely online and allowing folks to be charged via electronic check from their bank accounts, thus being charged upfront but eliminating the paper app process. Some things could be altered but the process to get this into play seems more of a law aspect than anything.

I think if you did draw you'll get a call from the game and fish if there are issues with the card.
-
If it is like past years, I'm guessing about 90% - 95% of the charges have happened. There will be a few more next week, but it is mostly done. I know guys that are in the max pool by several points and they have not been hit yet. I can't think it is anywhere near over yet.

Does anyone know if the Dept is doing everything internally? Drawing, billing etc for this draw? Or did they outsource the billing for the cards?
-
I think the process is going to take a while..... I have three in my party that very highly likely should be drawing cow tags... haven't had those hit yet.
-
If a youth tag is drawn, the charge reflects the youth hunt amount.

Got a hit! Archery Bull of some sort. Now if NM can come through with another bull tag, my year would be made! I heard one time they charge according to the hunt codes and work down.... makes me wonder. A few in my party put in for cow tags that have about a 100% odd and they haven't been hit yet.
-
Yea you do. But honestly it is real nice knowing "when" the results will be posted for NM. Hope to pull a double with AZ and NM this year.

How about Georgia State just beating Baylor? Bet that one broke a lot of brackets!

In cleaning out the gun cabinet, I came across these that I had totally forgotten about. They are in pretty good condition; I won't ever use them; don't know much about them. After trying to do some research online about these glasses, I can't find much info. It looks like some have sold for upwards to $400 on the minimal results that come back. List them for $200 OBO If someone knows more about them, please PM me and fill me in.

I don't think it will be for a few more days.

AZGFD DOES IT AGAIN
Coues79 replied to wardsoutfitters's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
Sounds like a lot of outfitters that purchase the hunting and access rights will be affected by it..... Interesting. -
Depends on what type of hunting a guy wants to do. For me, working out and pushing myself mentally helps when it comes hunting time. That day in day out of allowing your mind to overcome when your body is telling you to "quit" personally helps me in the mountains. Now if I could keep my feet in that same shape and not wear them out the first couple of days I'd be a lot better off... Interesting topic here. Thanks for posting it.

I'm glad most of the state is getting it. We still haven't had much here in the eastern part of the state. Sure would be nice to get a snowpack one of these years.

Sweet deal and congrats! What the heck broadheads were you shooting? Huge hole in that bigger buck.

There have been numerous times that I have not received a card to fill out..... How could a mandatory reporting "hurt" the process of obtaining more data? Would it be a bad idea?
