In cleaning out the gun cabinet, I came across these that I had totally forgotten about. They are in pretty good condition; I won't ever use them; don't know much about them. After trying to do some research online about these glasses, I can't find much info. It looks like some have sold for upwards to $400 on the minimal results that come back. List them for $200 OBO If someone knows more about them, please PM me and fill me in.

Sounds like a lot of outfitters that purchase the hunting and access rights will be affected by it..... Interesting.

Depends on what type of hunting a guy wants to do. For me, working out and pushing myself mentally helps when it comes hunting time. That day in day out of allowing your mind to overcome when your body is telling you to "quit" personally helps me in the mountains. Now if I could keep my feet in that same shape and not wear them out the first couple of days I'd be a lot better off... Interesting topic here. Thanks for posting it.

I'm glad most of the state is getting it. We still haven't had much here in the eastern part of the state. Sure would be nice to get a snowpack one of these years.

There have been numerous times that I have not received a card to fill out..... How could a mandatory reporting "hurt" the process of obtaining more data? Would it be a bad idea?

Last year 19 points was the bonus point pool with 20% of those applicants being drawn. From what I see at 17 points, you're almost to a 2% chance of drawing this year; but since they split that hunt up to the South and North units, it might vary a little bit. You may be quite a few years away from a guaranteed tag. If you went into next years draw with 18 points, based on what applicants do, you would be in the bonus point pass for maximum points in 23 North for the early archery hunt and draw that hunt next year. Every so many years, the early archery hunt swings back to start at a later date; more towards mid September, which could make for better rutting action; maybe factor that in for future appications.... but with such few tags and a lack of hunting pressure, 23 North should be slamming anyways. Wish I had your problem!

Depends on what you want out of the hunt. If you have the money, want someone to do the work of finding bulls for you and want that atmosphere then do it. I'd personally never hire a guide but that's me. If you do hire one, look around payson. There are a couple good guys/guides down there that arent "big name" outfitters. They'll treat you good and be thankful to help you on your hunt.

Good seeing the game and fish fixing their errors that occurred on their end. I'm sure its obvious to them that a portion of their customers are upset. Glad to see its being fixed ahead of the draw; I'm sure you're pretty happy its resolved too! Results will be posted nonetheless sometime. Guys can bitch and moan.... Make the waiting suck that much more for themselves.

You are putting the same hunt for choice 1 AND 2? Just so you know, that makes no sense. If there are no tags for your 1st choice they go to your 2nd choice. If your 2nd choice is the same as your 1st, there are still no tags left. The same applies for 3,4,5. If there are no tags left for your 3rd choice, there are no tags left in the 4th and 5th rounds either...if you put down the same hunt #. All the unit 8 late archery tags are gone in the 1,2 round so you won't have a chance in the 3rd round. You should be putting the early archery 1st choice and late archery 2nd choice or in your dad's case, rifle 1st and late archery 2nd.His case makes perfect sense. He doesn't want to be considered for the bonus point pass for the late archery hunt. If 3 points puts him in the 1-2 choice bonus pass for late archery, he would never have a chance to even draw the early hunt. The only fail safe way for him to go into the normal draw after the 1-2 bonus pass is to do that. It may be the only chance he has to draw an early hunt. This is the same for both cases he presents.

Geez guys. Get over it. It happened. Its done. It will continue to happen. This same bitchfest happens every single draw cycle. Nothing has changed and it appears it won't change. You guys sit here and get pissed off over something you have no control over, bashing each other for what? Because people apply last minute? Wow. The draw is gonna happen. People will get drawn. People won't get drawn. The cycle will continue. Get over it. Sucks reading everyone getting pissed off at everyone over something like this.

Why are you selling?

I bought my license through the online vendor and it populated my new license when I applied for elk within 10 minutes after purchasing my license. It did for both antelope and elk. My buddy did the same thing and had the same results that I did.... It immediately populated in the license field on the application. No problems.

There's turkey all over the WMAT. I imagine those hunts are an absolute blast when the strut is full on.

In this day and age, they are not going to drop the online application process. It won't happen. What we have grown accustomed to is problems with the process. The good thing is that they still allow you to submit paper apps. So if applying online isn't "your" thing (that's not directed at anyone specific) then apply with paper. But arguing about taking the online process away is doing no one any good. It will not happen.

Some guys on here claim to be the saving grace of the internet and and save us all from the "hassle". Wow. Anyways, I don't know anything about 19A. If I did I'd share with you via PM. Good luck finding your spots and I am glad to see a guy spark up an interest in hunting. Hopefully you can spark that in your own kids someday. Good luck in the draw.
