My wife cooks and wraps burritos the day before the hunt. Easy to warmup and take a long. I like mountain house for some meals. Quick and easy.

I like the finesse with the havalon. But, with that comes concerns with the ease that the blade can snap. I've sliced my finger pretty good after a blade snapped quartering an elk on a hillside. Pretty fortunate I didnt sever an artery. I have an outdoor edge as well and like it too. Both have their perks....

Wait..... they had to account for the population having a detrimental affect on the aspen growth, post fire. I guess we don't have enough aspen up here.... It's a joke what theyve done with the tag allocation. I couldn't believe the amount of people out this year in unit 1. Overall quality of bulls has been affected in both units. Sad deal.

The recieving core is fine. Get a new place kicker to go along with a new long snapper after they cut Canaday. We've had more costly field goal and PAT misses over the course of the last year than I care to think about. I have more anxiety with this than anything else

Itd be nice if theyd update their system and do it like New Mexico does it. Then everyone would have a level playing field no matter where you lived...... Unless your internet went out.

I agree. A guy gets old too quick. I held out for quite a few years on deer waiting to draw a good Dec tag. Now, i cant wait to start applying and know im going hunting every year with my son, starting next year. Theres a lot of good units a guy can hunt, with quality animals every year or two.

Ive thought about that as well. But, it seems to me that a lot of people would apply for those hunts, and if not drawn, still be given an opportunity to apply and draw in the fall draw cycle. If they could work something out as having to choose one draw cycle or the other, it might work. Idk though.

Awe shucks. A whitetail hunt that lasts 23 days in december. 😊

It seems like this draw has gone smoothly. Dare i say they turned the corner with their system? Or maybe im just excited cause i got drawn for the strip or december whitetail.... Idk. Anyway good job game and fish!

Thats a good one DB. I would think the draw is run based on application number and not CC numbers. Once the update is completed, theyll have a system that automatically links the card to the application number and hit the cards. But like DB said, pretty good chance its 60% messed up already.

What does that radio station have to say? They were spot on with the mid-winter draw.

Theyd have to go through the randomized draw and ensure that there are no flaws/issues with those who drew and payment issues. Basically an audit of the draw itself before they start processing the cards..... Just IMO which doesnt mean a whole lot
