Itd be nice if theyd update their system and do it like New Mexico does it. Then everyone would have a level playing field no matter where you lived...... Unless your internet went out.

I agree. A guy gets old too quick. I held out for quite a few years on deer waiting to draw a good Dec tag. Now, i cant wait to start applying and know im going hunting every year with my son, starting next year. Theres a lot of good units a guy can hunt, with quality animals every year or two.

Ive thought about that as well. But, it seems to me that a lot of people would apply for those hunts, and if not drawn, still be given an opportunity to apply and draw in the fall draw cycle. If they could work something out as having to choose one draw cycle or the other, it might work. Idk though.

Awe shucks. A whitetail hunt that lasts 23 days in december. 😊

It seems like this draw has gone smoothly. Dare i say they turned the corner with their system? Or maybe im just excited cause i got drawn for the strip or december whitetail.... Idk. Anyway good job game and fish!

Thats a good one DB. I would think the draw is run based on application number and not CC numbers. Once the update is completed, theyll have a system that automatically links the card to the application number and hit the cards. But like DB said, pretty good chance its 60% messed up already.

What does that radio station have to say? They were spot on with the mid-winter draw.

Theyd have to go through the randomized draw and ensure that there are no flaws/issues with those who drew and payment issues. Basically an audit of the draw itself before they start processing the cards..... Just IMO which doesnt mean a whole lot

That buck has made it that long and gotten that big for a reason. I wouldn't be surprised if he did make it another season. Big bucks are smart animals.

I put in 9 different apps for my family, between deer, sheep and turkey without a problem. My hope is they all get entered into the draw without any problems.

I've never felt or worn any camo that was more comfortable than kuiu. But I've never bought any of the higher lines other than kuiu. I'll have a hard time buying something other than this line for pants in the future.

Found birds opening morning. Wife killed her first gobbler by 630. Came into a decoy and took him at about 10-15 yards. It was right before the wind picked up. Saturday was windy from the get go. Had a tom roosted who came in strutting as soon as he hit the ground. Passed on him. Ended up calling in two more birds and took the last one called in. It was very windy, but they were very responsive to calls and came in well. Hop over the state line and it was a completely different story in New Mexico. Toms were not talking and no success after AZ. Makes a guy appreciative for what we have here in this great state.

Had a really difficult hunt this year in NM. Where turkey had been in the past, very little recent sign with no vocal birds. The country looks very very dry on the western part of the state. Wondering if the birds have moved around a bit due to that lack of moisture and feed. Saw a whole lot of folks out hunting. The country has a ton of pressure.

It's this exactly. We have a slew of corrupt legislatures that could care less about our kids education. 100% corruption and it's all our own faults for voting them in; including my own.Just follow the money. Those who are invested in charter schools profit from ruining public education. Look no further than the ultra right wing reps in Gilbert. I am seriously glad I see someone else understand this. 100% true.
