Way to go, Tessa!
-
I hunt alone quite a bit. My wife bought me a SPOT messenger a few years ago so that I can check in when cell service is no good.
-
That's a great pic. Cool buck.

Congrats! Lots of great posts on this so far. And it does go fast! Mine turned 10 a few months ago and I don't know where the time has gone. Love her and show her the way. She'll teach you plenty along the way, too.

Very cool. Thanks for sharing.

Nicely done! Congrats on a great experience with your dad and uncle.

Oh man, I wish I had a tag this year. In the spot I checked this weekend the bulls have all split up and starting to get going. Should be great next weekend!

Great tribute to a great man.

What It Is: Roomy: King size bed on one pull out; queen on the other. Previous owner removed one section of seating; I have found this to be a good spot for ice chests. Durable: If this thing could be broken, I would have done it by now hauling it across the many fine back roads of Arizona. The most exciting adventure was when it popped up on I-40 (at 70mph) coming home from a successful antelope hunt. That resulted in four brand new arms. One of those arms broke rattling into Unit 10 last year; I currently use the reliable 2x4 method to prop that end up. I consider it a giant tent on wheels at this point. It tows great. The propane line to the stove works fine. Two new tires and new spare purchased last year. What It Is Not: Luxurious: If you want much beyond creature comforts, this is not for you. Tow lights all work fine, but that's about it for electrical. A new battery and a couple of fuses should get you up and running if you want interior lighting. The King end has a tear in the upholstery. Waterproof: More like water resistant. Canvas is in good to fair condition. Couple of small tears on the side, one spot over one of the beds that requires new tape each season. I applied about 47 pounds (slight exaggeration) of sealant to the seams on the roof last year and stayed dry the whole time. Selling because the ladies in my life say that in order to go camping with me more, they are going to need things like "electricity" and "plumbing". Would be a great starter trailer and is ideal for Coues hunts down south. What it lacks in luxury, it more than makes up for in luck. Has been the primary home for several successful Coues, javelina, elk and antelope hunts. Priced to sell quickly at $700 firm. Currently housed in a garage in Oro Valley.

Oscararias: Will let you know if the first offer doesn't pan out tomorrow morning.

Congrats! Nice write up on the adventure.

Great mix of critters. Thanks for sharing.

Tough. Smart. Loyal. Energetic. If you have the time to mold one into what you want out of a dog (worker, companion) they will be one of the best dogs you've ever had.

Are 15X's that much of an advantage
Lucky Draw replied to joeinaz0's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
What Couestracker said. The 15's can be no fun to haul around sometimes, but I have found way more critters with them than my 10's. -
That is great. Congrats!

Congrats! Way to get it done.
