Im posting this for a buddy of mine. He is having the craigslist woes like we all get. Its a 2005 with very low hours. Front bumper has a dent. But other than that its in great shape. Callin usually but that one in the picture came in when I was set up on some Muleys and they took off. They were 15 to 30 yrds away from me then he decided to join the party and spook em off. Soooo I decided to dispatch him. But usually callin em in works best for me. We get quite a lot of fox comin in too where we call. Good times. With the calls you definately need to find out which ones gonna work in ur area. Fawn in distress works pretty good or jackrabbit seems to work well too. Good luck on the Yote hunts!

Smoked this dude at thirty yards the other day after he screwed up my Muley hunt. They have probably screwed up 4 or 5 of my hunts this year. Now that archery deer is over its time to decrease the yote population!

geplain, thanks for the post. I have tried getting a hold of my buddy since the attempted break in and have not heard from him. I hope everything is ok. But until I hear from him I wont be able to pass on all the weapons for sale. Thanks

Lookin for a compact 9mm. This is for a work buddy. His house has been broken into a couple times and they have tried more than that.We work night shifts half the month and his wife and little boy have been home alone when they have tried breaking in. As you can imagine he is worried sick about her and she is scared to death. Something that the wife and he can both use. I was thinking like the xd9 or one of the glocks. Thanks for looking

Yeah, His brother gave him some sort of cheap knock off 9mm and i told him the same thing. As soon as I hear back from him I will give him the great advice and info from everyone on here. Thanks again yall. What a great website with some dang good people

Yeah I told him that after the first time but hes never owned a dog and is not much of an animal person. He has put up wrought iron on all his doors and windows, got motion detector lights and that hasnt deterred these scumbags. He is seriously thinkin about up and selling and movin somewhere else. Thats just sad that someone would have to even think about that. I live out in the sticks and my pregnant wifes home alone when im on nights. And I worry for her.But we also have 3 large dogs that would die protecting her and her .380 in her nighstand, my.40 in mine, a 12 gauge hidden and all are cocked locked and ready to rock. And she knows how to use them.Plus all my cousins that would be loaded for bear in a second that live nearby.

Thanks guys. He had another breakin attempt last night while we were at work. So he stayed home tonight. As soon as i can get a hold of him i will give him the info from yall. Its a sad state of affairs in this world when you dont feel safe leavin to go try to support your family

I hunted hard 5 of the the 10 days in 36a. The other ones i had that dreadful thing called work. We had some success but the amount of doe and fawn this year was amazing. I have never seen so many deer and so few bucks. The few bucks we did glass were tucked in as soon as the sunlight hit em.It seems they had been pressured a ton and it was unseasonably warm. I watched one buck tuck in at 7:30 and never moved until the sun was down. The buck in the picture my buddy glassed up at 7:00 and was down at 7:15. It took my buddy 4 hours to get 200 yards for the shot. Once again buck never moved.

Heres my 3 @#$%heads. OSO the German Shepard who yes has his own sectional and the twins Elvis and Tucker. Lab Retriever mix who we picked up at the pound. OSO is 10 and getting a little grey and slow but the twins keep him young I think.

I have a 2008 PSE Brute for sale ready to shoot. Whisker biscuit, 4 arrow quiver and sights out to 70 yrds. Its set to 70lb draw with a 29inch draw length. Both of which can be adjusted. Its been a great bow for me and would be a great starter or back up bow. I have upgraded to an omen and the boss says one of em needs to go. Will also throw in a truball release with it. I am lookin for a tandem axle flatbed trailer. Willing to trade bow plus a few hundred cash for the right one. Thanks

Cant agree with you more. We usually get the early hunt and man sometimes its a bit hot. And have hunted 36b often. Good bucks down there. We decided to try for a later hunt this year. Got the Nov.30-Dec.9th hunt 36a. Good Luck and Be safe down there.

Average American, while i disagree with you on some of your opinions. I do agree that we all will never feel the same about certain issues. I appreciate your comments as they were non judgemental and well spoken. This has been a real interesting and entertaining thread to follow. We as hunters need to understand there will aways be difference of opinions. But we shouldnt be putting other hunters tactics (as long as legal) down. Good Luck y'all on future hunts.

I live and hunt in 36a and have done so my entire life. never had any problems. now im not saying other people dont but most of the illegal traffic dont want any trouble. they just want to do whatever they are doin and not be seen. of course always be prepared but i would anywhere i go. good luck on the hunt

Awesome ! Congrats on first buck . My wifes pregnant with our first child. Cant wait til hes old enough to take him out !
