Reading this thread is not only comical but it reminds me of why I only have a few buddies that I will hunt with. I've hunted with a lot of guys and most of them only once. Lots of issues already mentioned but I once I took my new at the time neighbor deer hunting. He had a tag so I offered to help him. I showed up at his camp that morning and about an hour or two after light we finally left camp. Then I break out the tripod and binoculars and start glassing. He used his rifle to glass! I actually had to tell him where the other hunters were so he wouldn't use his rifle to look at them. Turns out he's never owned a pair of binoculars in his life. Nice guy but not really my style of hunting partner. My BEST hunting partners will always be my dad and brother. Sometime we don't agree on how to approach a hunting situation, but the memories just wouldn't be the same without them. Hunting is always fun and a true passion of mine, but spending time with family is the one truly priceless thing in my life.

Looks like a handful of hunters deserve a big congrats for harvesting awesome bears last weekend. I hunted hard last weekend. Put a lot of miles on the boots and many hours behind the glass. Didn't see any bears but got to explore some amazing new GIANT country. Congrats again to all the successful hunters so far. Hope there's more success stories to come!!

I've got an older leupold VX3 6.5x20x40AO and I'm wondering how I find out how much elevation dial adjustment it has? My first thought was to just start turning it to the end and count clicks. Then turn the other way to the end and count clicks, making sure of course that I write down the clicks to return it to its current zero. Is there an easier way to find out?

Thank you sir. Trying to run some numbers in my head to see if I have enough adjustment or if I need to go with a 20 MOA rail instead of the straight one that I have.

This guy has started showing up in my new deer spot, along with a flock of turkeys. He's not huge. Maybe 150 lbs I would guess. It will be pretty cool to be able to sit my blind with tags in my wallet for 3 different species!!

Finally getting around to selling these items. First is size 11 Fox Comp5 motocross boots. I bought them for $150 a couple years ago. Wore them for one 2 hour bike ride and never wore them again so they are basically brand new. $100 Next is a Toyota Tacoma 3" lift kit from Trailmasters. Model number T4501. Fits years 2005-2008 for sure. Might fit other years, but I'll leave that up to you to find out. This kit has never been installed. All hardware is still in the sealed parts bags. I bought a set of tires for my truck about a year ago and this kit came with the deal. $125 I live in Prescott Valley so buyer pays shipping. If you can be patient, I might be able to arrange delivery next time I come to the valley.
