Yeah they are. They closed yesterday at sundown So you can't hunt today, but according to the regs you should be able to hunt 23s this weekend. The next hunt starts tomorrow August 22- sept 11 with another 2 sow limit for 23s. Unit 1 doesn't open back up until October 3 with a 3 sow limit.

I've only hunted the northeast end towards Klondike and never had any service till last year, if you're up really high there's a couple places you can call out with verizon. I was also able to make a call last year right down in the valley near the old Klondike store. Before last year I always had to drive to where I could see the lights of safford to get any service.

Your dad had enough points to draw 12a west early hunt this year in the bonus pass, he didn't have enough points for 12b west late to even be considered in the bonus round so G&F gave him his second choice. He drew that in the bonus pass. My dad drew that 12b west late tag with only 2 points, so it was obviously in the 1st and 2nd pass. 80% of deer tags are just luck of the draw.

How many times do I have to tell you Dick? 20% if the tags go to the guys with the most points and the other 80% Is just luck of the draw. Let me break that down for you. So let's say there's 100 tags, 20 go to the highest point people in the bonus round and the other 80 is just $hit house luck.

I wonder how Keith is going to pull that hunt off. I'm pretty sure he is getting married on the 22nd of Nov. and heading to the keys or Bahamas right after the wedding. Correct me if I'm wrong Trphyhntr but I think they changed their wedding plans.
