George Strait and Alan Jackson's cover of George Jones "he stop loveing here" was the highlight of my night.

489gr Total weight, gold tip kinetic XT arrows with 125gr slik trik magnum brodheads. I like the way a heavier arrow flys and they pack a helluva punch. They're shooting right at 286fps out of my Bowtech experience, 68lb pull and 30.5" draw.

When you start having dinner before you head out for the evening hunt cause it's too late when you get back.

Oh this is easy. If it were me, I'm hiking back out to my cooler full of beer, BBQ, and comfy bed.

2014: Unit 1 archery or Unit 3B early muzzleloader?
Workman replied to Umpqua's topic in Elk Hunting
I don't think you'll have a snowballs chance in Phoenix for 3b early muzzy putting in together. I'd go unit 1 archery, and the heck with Trphyhntr he had that 1 tag this year. -
I've been really pleased with the gold tip kinetic XT. They're heavy (489gr) but that's what I was looking for. They're shooting 286fps out of my Bowtech Experience, 30.5 draw, pulling 68lbs!

I don't always go quail hunting, but when I do, I shoot them wherever they give me a a shot. -

San Carlos Unit B.....MONSTER!!!!!
Workman replied to Apache7mm's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
My god that's a beast! -
Couldn't agree with you more! I personally have not shot a coues at more than 30 yards haha My rifle is a 30-06 and while its not a old fashion round I wouldn't trade my trusty 06 for anything. How in the world did you arrive at the conclusion that 30-06 SPRG is NOT an old fashioned round??? haha well I guess I meant it is not as old fashion as others. I know it been around for a while a while... yes. i think 30-06 is older than everything mentioned. .444 marlin, 7mm, .300win, .460 wby, .270 1906-present for 30-06. GTS

Awesome bucks right there. Congrats!

Out here hunting deer in AZ a 300+ yard shot very common. IMO that's a chip shot out here.
