I don't deny that the lack of water didn't affect the growth this year I would be ignorant to argue that, but what i am saying is there are some good animals out there not as many as we would all like to see but their out there. I have seen some good ones. Many people were wondering if the rain came a little late to even help the deer growth and my testimony is that Jason's find tells the story thats all.

Nice find Jason, and some say the drought affected the horn growth. Yeah right ! I saw 2 Bulls that would go over 380 this past weekend and I've seen the biggest deer I've seen in years all this past few weeks.

Invest into a cheap gamecam and let it help do some monitoring for you. See if maybe he is still in the area and go from there. Lots of glassing and a lot of homework usually helps. It may not be easy but well worth it. Spending lots of time in the hills is your best bet.

Never use anything that has alcohol in it, trust me from experience it take the protective film off of the lense, you can actually look at the end of the binos and see the difference in the two lenses and notice it when looking toward the sun. And the bad thing is. The pads were made for optical lenses and I won't say the brand name thats on the packet.

I have a spyder (youth) with everything including arrows, shot maybe 30 times. It was bought new last year but son out grew it very fast. I would rather trade it for a range finder or rifle scope of equal value. Maybe even 10x42 binos. I estimate the bows value around 185.00 to 200.00 .
