LittleBear, Those are some good looking hounds!

I have a couple questions, if anyone can help me out it will be appreciated. When does the Coues rut start & when does it end?

Thanks Coosefan, With the change in application deadlines this year I better get my mind made up. I have hunted Coues deer in unit 23 & Javelina in 27. Both look like good elk country.

Great Bull Coosefan, I apply every year for unit 10 thinking that is the place to be for a highscoring bull. Maby I better change my plans?

Muskeg, I remember meeting you & your son as you were leaving unit 23. My brother-in-law & I were just arriving. We were in the Cheve with the horse trailer that met up with you two on the turn. I remember talking with you about the lack of deer in 23. We talked alittle about hunting in Alaska. I guess you are still doing that? Oh yah, we didn't see any deer in 23 either. Just alot of people. People everywhere. By the way, does anyone know Tony of Tony's hunt club?

Does anyone know how to get a company to sponser you. For instance how do you convince Easton or P.S.E. to pay your way to hunt? We all see the guys & gals living the dream. How do you get on Realtree's team?

Thanks for the help guys. I met a couple guys last elk season here in Utah that borrowed several thousand dollars to purchase quality elk tags & produce a hunting video hoping to make a bundle. When I talked with them they had not even broke even yet. Now whether they were up front with me or just trying to keep me out of the buisness is anyone's guess. But I am sure there are more that do not make it than those that do.

Hey Littlebear, Great looking Bull. I see pictures from time to time of big Arizona bulls with that funky top on them. Is that a genetic from all across the state or is it unit specific? Just wondering. It looks pretty cool.

Deer, Elk, Lion, Bear, Bobcat. I have 7 different traditional bows & 5 compound's. I just purchased a traditional Eastern Indian flat bow. But my favorite is a custom longbow my wife gave me for Christmas a couple years back. It is made from Osage Orange wood & shoots where you point it. My first arrow with it took a pigeon out of the air. Along with big game I have taken ringtail cat, duck's, geese & pheasants as well as several other animals.

Hey Josh, Great looking hounds. Do you guys hunt Bear with them also. If so do you rig for Bear or how do you find a good track? Just wondering. I never get enough hound hunting.

Josh, How do you get along with the Plots? I have had Walker, Bluetic, Redbone, Redtic, Black & Tan & Plots. Never had much luck with the Plots but I have seen some really good ones. I just have not had alot of luck.

Great lion Josh, What kind of hounds do you run? Did you or your dad know the late Dawson Riley? I believe he ran hounds in Arizona for years before he passed away.
