Has anyone ever participated in this hunt? I am fairly new to the area and have never hunted Elk before. I know what the game and fish website says about the hunt and the very low success rate. So just looking for some ideas and pointers. Or if it is even worth getting the tag.

Anyone hit these areas up this year? Or got any other areas down by Tucson or farther south. I know they havent really migrated this far this early but hey there has to be something out there.

I got a tag ready for Nov 14-20th. Anyone have any luck in this yet this year?

Those are definitely some nice looking deer. This is going to be my shot at a mule deer so I hope to get onto something like those. Hoghntr be nice let him share lol. Sherman if you did want to share I will definitely listen

Yeah those places are always covered with Sandhill's. I heard that Picacho Reservoir might not be too bad either for some ducks. It's about a 2 hour drive for me but it might be worth it.

Hey yall just got word that I am going to be at good old Fort Huachuca for another two years. So I figured I would look on here and see if anyone in the area would be interested in a huntin buddy. I will be putting in for the Whitetail Tag on post and possibly an Elk tag depending on the research I can get done and if I can find a partner. Will also be looking to do waterfowl, upland, and doves
