To noone in particular. A lot of you guys talk * but if you were in the same shoes, you would not be so sure of yourself then. I don't know the details of the situation. And I don't condone poaching. Likelihood this guy is a poacher to have his life ruined? Not likely. Likely a good hunter who made a dumb mistake like any one of us could possibly make "on any given Sunday." And he is not related to Biden. https://nypost.com/2018/01/19/joe-bidens-niece-finally-pays-up-for-100k-credit-card-scam/ A solid good friend of mine who has never bagged an animal, never shot at an animal, never even wounded an animal, but has always wanted to take home some deer meat to his family, forgot his license but brought his tag to our deer hunt once. Work was so nuts he could only make it out for 1 night and 1 day. Game and Fish was randomly ID'ing people, and he got nailed for not having his license on him, despite the fact that he had a valid tag. And this was when tags were valid only on Calendar years Jan 1 to Dec 31. So how did he get a tag without having a valid license in the first place? The Game and Fish officer told him that if he had been hunting coyote he couldn't have done anything, but because he didn't have his license on him with a valid deer tag and admitted to hunting deer, he was cited on the spot. Next thing you know he gets a notice in the mail threatening jail time, $5000 fine (approx), the book. Good guy, solid God-fearing Christian, family and kids. Definitely no poacher and no criminal, and definitely not a guy that would make a dumb mistake without having a bad day. And this guy is so far from being a poacher he still hasn't tagged his first animal yet. And they wanted to send him away...He could have got any lawyer, but if there is something to be learned about lawyers, it is certainly that one isn't as good as the next. Some are great for exactly what you need, and others were meant to be a different kind of lawyer. Bottom line was he got a good lawyer and it was dismissed after showing his valid license, but believe me the court would not have been so easy on him had he not had a lawyer that knew something about game laws...Without a good lawyer it would have been a number in their statistics to show they are *doing their job* (on a defenseless innocent person). And thankfully it was dismissed. But not until after it cost him $3 grand with his family fearing he was going to be sent away. So, be careful what you say or do, you never know when you might be in the same situation. You can be the most honest guy in the world but if they have a quota to fill, you and your family are nothing I don't care how honest or law abiding you are. Only speak to any LEO through a lawyer. Even lawyers will not represent themselves. Last but not least. If any of you think this couldn't happen to me -- it only happened to him b/c he must have done something wrong. And I'm not just referring to self-reporting, but being honest with someone who you think is simply checking your ID - you're still green or living in times of the past when things were fair...Times have changed, and LEO's, and judges have quotas to fill. You're just a number to them. This is why I don't understand why everyone votes judges in every year on the ballot whom they know nothing about. Many of them probably have Swiss bank accounts or monero accounts. It's like giving employment to people for life who probably don't deserve it.

Who knows what motivated this guy...Total speculation. Perhaps he was radicalized in the southern Philippines, assuming his girlfriend may be from there, and he went there to visit. Real facts and information and not speculation will come out eventually. Seems he met someone somewhere and went the wrong way...But the topic subject sure has it correct. Don't let it stop how you live! Be careful and vigilant visiting touristy places with your families/wife/kids near tall skyscrapers with a lot of people nearby... Stay safe! Lonne

Thanks - because we need to get there soon, and not much time. I do not want to burn their gear or give up on NFL yet. But they don't have much time to admit the stupid mistake they have made. They made a very stupid decision. Even the smartest people make dumb mistakes they need to recover from. But if they do not reverse it very soon and stand behind the flag - yeah - I will give up one of my favorite sports, they better sort it out. I love my country and I love football. But these celebrity million dollar players better not make me choose when Tillman made the ultimate sacrifice. They will lose. What in the heck is going on here? We got a mad North Korean dictator pointing nuclear missiles at the U.S. (intelligence info...what do we know and don't know? Good question) and blatantly telling the world he wants to kill innocent civilans, and there are people in America saying they support Kim Jong Un more than Trump and even more importantly so, America...? These people couldn't contemplate or even hack what Otto Warmbier went through, saddest thing, totally clueless. People can be pissed at Trump...but standing in respect to the flag and National Anthem, and people are letting Trump get in the way of that? That's very sad. Unity and Nationalism (America, hello!?) are more important. Global culture is of course amazing. Who doesn't love food from around the world? But we are America...we hunt, we fish, we shoot, we stand up to our government...if these other people want their laws they are accustomed to, go back home. If you are gonna live here, understand what American freedom is, and respect people's choices and values, even if it isn't your own, or go back home if those are the values you want b/c you don't understand freedom. Respect for our country and our history...don't forget if you want internationalism...go to Europe. Cool fun place, but it isn't America, and we aren't the same...if that is what people want...go to Europe If there are certain freedom and anti-gun laws you want, what are you doing here and trying to bring your country's laws here for? Go back home. Learn what it is to be American if you want to stay here. Don't bring your bs government here, our government is bs enough as it is and we need to keep it small to prevent as much bs as we can. If you want freedom in your own form, be an example to your own country and lead the sacrifices and revolution needed in your country to be like what we have here, but with your own values. Don't bring your values here and try to rid of ours unless you understand what being an American really means. I have some great friends coming to visit the USA from a close ally of ours from outside the country, and I was going to go to a game with them. If this is not sorted out, then I am not going to the game, and then whose game is it? When I was raised, my father taught me not once, never ever even once, to miss standing facing the flag with my hand over my heart and hat off my head, in respect to the pledge of allegiance or National Anthem and the colors on that flag, the red stripes which stand for the blood of the soldiers shed protecting our freedom. Free speech on their own time. When you are standing in front of a lot of people it's time for you to respect the flag and what this country stands for and be an example for everyone, kids included. If I ever, ever, ever, did not respect that flag, my dad rightly so would have knocked me one. And when I was growing up in those early years getting distracted, I'd feel a gentle disciplining but serious nudge and would understand immediately, that my dad was not joking around. It helped me truly understand what others did for us in this country to pay freedom's ultimate price. It makes me wonder who these grown mens' supposed parents are and how they were taught. It's a shame these expensively paid players who have a dream job compared to us most, cannot stand up as an example of what America means to them and the world. I'd like to seen them go to any other country and spend some time there living like others who don't have what we have. And see them come back and see if they get their sudden respect for the flag back. Lonne

Love the videos! I've been on a few dog hunts before for boars (pigs) and that is one confident bear. Doesn't seem phased by the dogs just annoyed more than anything else. LOL. What a monster. And no doubt he was experienced with quite a few chases before to get that big and be so nonchalant. LOL.

I have not been to that unit but I have been to some of the other southern units and I'm pretty sure you'll have a fantastic time. Enjoy your hunt. I have not heard of this going on in Arizona. But I have heard about it happening in other places. Example: http://www.mcall.com/sports/outdoors/mc-antlerless-deer-licenses-sold-out-09142015-20150914-column.html However, I just randomly mentioned it to some hunting friends of mine and they mentioned the anti hunter possibility...I just think there is a large demand. But it sure would be nice to put a stop to any of that possibility. Also, I'm just making discussion. I had a leftover tag the last 8 of 9 years approximately...Last year I got 4th choice, but before that I usually got 1st or 2nd so I must have been pretty lucky. Good luck on everyone's hunts! Lonne
