These aren't mine, nor do I know the seller, but thought someone on this forum would be interested. http://www.24hourcampfire.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/topics/6913283/Re_Vortex_15x56_Kaibab_HD_Bino#Post6913283

This is a great deal... If only I wasn't broke!
-
Very nice bucks! Thanks for sharing!

I have a Meostar 4-16X44 scope. Better glass than leupold's VX III line IMO. it is a heavy scope, but tough (built like a tank.) PM me if you ever get down to Tucson. I'll gladly let you look through it and come to your own opinion.

Sold Pending Funds Thanks

Leica Rangemaster 1200 scan (40525) I've had this rangefinder for 4 years. Works great and is in very good cosmetic condition. Comes with box and paperwork. Great rangefinder! $325

I'll take them.... I'll give you a call after work today.

Those are fantastic pics! Thanks for sharing.

You can always rebarrel! I know where you can get a 26" Hart barrel in 257 Weatherby threaded for that action.
-
20 in barrel, any concern on accuracy or velocity?
Couesdeer replied to apache12's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I've seen more than a few Model 7s in 7-08 sporting 20" tubes that shot lights out. I don't have hard data in front of me, but I'd bet you won't lose more than 25 fps per inch under a 24" barrel (100 fps loss in total). -
Sorry, rifle has been sold.

I no longer have a need for this rifle and there's no more room in the safe. So off it goes. Post '64 Winchester Model 70. (push feed) Chambered in .270 Winchester Blued metal, wood stock, 22" barrel Bore and chamber are excellent. I can't say how many rounds through it as I purchased it second-hand. Some hunting dings in the stock. $300 Located in Catalina (Tucson. Oro Valley area) I will ship to your AZ address or FFL out of AZ on your dime. Might consider trades for a light weight bolt action in 223 or 22-250.

That's easy Unit 40b.. Right? Seriously though,I agree with the previous posts... They're your pics. Do with them as you wish. Awesome bucks, by the way!

I had Inyati spray a liner in my truck back in '05. It has been as tough as nails and still looks good.

Norm, I sent you a PM...

I've never felt handicapped running 6.5 power on the low end. That being said, I can't remember the last time I cranked the scope up to 20X. Usually 10-12X depending on the target and distance.

That is water softener salt on the ground in two of the pics. I used a big coffee can full of the stuff to create a salt lick on one of my set-ups. Aside from the Javelinas on the salt, I had thousands of squirrel pics. It was not a productive as I had hoped.

After a few years of looking at everybody's trailcam pics and thinking it would be a fun, I finally purchased a pair of trailcams. I set them out on a game trail far enough off the road that i thought they should be safe. Two weeks later, I have a 65 photos on the first cam and 25 on the second. Almost all of them were of wind blowing brush. I did get a few animals. The buck pics were eight days apart almost the same time of day. I reset both cams in different spots. with any luck I'll have some more photos to share in a couple of weeks.

Here are a couple of more pics... So much fun!

If I can get my mother-in-law to fit into it, I'm in!

Nothing inherently wrong with either the rifle or chambering in question. If the price is right, grab it! If you decide it isn't as accurate as you want, you'll have an easy time selling it....
-
Where are you located? I might be interested in purchasing or trading.
-
I'll take both scopes

Good call on the Danner Pronghorns. I've been running the same pair for the last three seasons with no problems at all.

Sorry, Everything is now sold... Thanks
