Thanks for the kind comments all.. The rifle started out as a stock remington 700. Rebarreled with an 18.5" model seven barrel chambered in .243. I cerakoted the barreled action prison pink and the bolt graphite black. After seeing that even the youth stocks were going to be too big for my daughter, I took a standard ADL wooden stock and hacked away. 11 inch LOP, shortened the forearm by 3 inches, slimmed the entire stock down. The standard pistol grip is designed for an adult sized hand, So I moved it forward with a healthy dose of bondo. The paint job is simply a rattle-can special. Pink recoil pad is made from a 99 cent pair of flip flops. She was recoil shy with factory ammo. So I loaded it with 70 gr Sierras and IMR 3031 for a very pleasant 2850 FPS load. Here's a better look.

If I buy the antlers, do I get the GPS coordinates to where they were found? Very cool find!

Dustin. Put those bullets with the powder. I'll pay you for them when we meet up to cerakote your rifle. JJ

I bought this for the scope that was on it. Previous owner claimed that the rifle has never been fired. After inspecting the action and bore, I believe him. Stock upgraded to an H&S Sendero style. 26" heavy barrel, leupold bases. Weighs 9 lb, 3 oz as pictured. $750

I think I have a trade in the works, pending response from a member here. If that falls through, yes, I'll consider trades.

Spent the day in Safford yesterday. My daughter completed her hunter safety course with the field day and final exam. After some initial frustration on the shooting range with right handed .22 designed for a larger shooter, she overcame and did very well. I am so proud of her. I am also so grateful for the instructors who made the field day possible. They were fantastic. The patience and kindness displayed towards my daughter meant the world to her. Here she is with her certificate of completion and patch, and another shot of her with the 243 I built for her.

Meant to post this earlier, but for the last few weeks, I have been driving by a bluish silver sedan parked on Twin Lakes in Catalina. I'm assuming you operate the heavy equipment for the work being done on Hawser.

Stainless Weatherby Vanguard in .257 Weatherby. I picked this up earlier this summer, but have decided that it needs to go because of a recent optics purchase! Very good condition, a couple of scratches on stock. Took it to the range once. Shot 115 bergers over Reloader 25 quite well (.75"). $450 Rifle alone. $600 with Vortex Diamondback 4-12X40 scope and rings. This rifle is in the Oro Valley, Catalina area (north of Tucson). I'll ship the rifle on your dime. Thanks .

Post 64 model 70 in 280 Rem. ER Shaw barrel, 1-9.25 twist. 22" .575 at the muzzle. Tungstun gray cerakote on the metal. Brown precision stock painted olive drab (Krylon... I didn't cerakote the stock because I wasn't going to put it in the oven.) Nice bedding job barrel is floated. I picked this up last fall from a fellow who claims that he had around 200 rounds through it. I have no way of verifying this. I have only put two groups through it with cheap remington factory 150 gr stuff. It does show potential. Total weight of rifle, leupold 1 peice base, rings. and Vortex 3-9X40 diampndback is right at 8 lbs. $625 shipped for rifle and base $750 for rifle, base, rings and scope.
