I drew a tag for unit 22 in Jan. I have never hunted New Mexico before. If anyone has any info on 22 it would be great. I have heard this is a good time to go. I was wondering on deer numbers, terrain, and what to expect. My friend and I drew these tags and already had a trip to Idaho last fall bought. So we are still financialy recovering from that and he is thinking of skipping this trip. I am looking for some info to maybe pump him up a bit. I will go by myself but not wanting to. Can anyone help us out a bit.
