I understand the food aspect of poaching but they should still have to buy/pay for a tag like we all do. heck in Alaska you can't keep the head but can keep all the meat for the people that are just killing for the food part. In my book poaching is poaching regardless of the situation.

Got one for the private land we have been able to duck hunt on. Regardless to say I don't want others hunting on this land, have you seen the national Forest lately. Not to say that's all hunters trash but there is a lot of people in the woods these days that don't belong in it at all.

Came home to the wife getting some elk roasts ready in the crock pot. She makes some amazing Italian elk sandwiches. A beautiful lil girl and a guided antelope hunt this year, happy bday to me.

She has changed me already and I love it. I wish there would be leftovers but my regular crowd of meat eaters are coming over.
