There re antelope all over 10 but I got my big bo permit and ended up shooting mine on the big bo. I don't think they have a max number they sell but I would check on the big bo website. I found it very usefully and it answered all my questions regarding an extra assistance permit. I bought one and used it for my dad and brother. Not sure if the rules have changed in the past 3 years or so.

As said above not a fun hunt but it can be done. We have had success during the rut in the thick nasty stuff.

I have a pair of cabelas euro hd 15x56 and love them. If you want to check them out I will be at the archery range at Ben Avery this Saturday at 9 am. I have a buddy that wants to check them out as well and fling some arrows. You are more than welcome to come check them out. Oh and the warranty is if it breaks you walk into cabelas and walk out with a new pair.

Man lots of good stuff on here and I will post up some pics next time I get my smoker rolling. I'm old school and baby sit the heck outa my fire. I have a few friends that have a tregar and they love it. I have an offset smoker and it was quite the learning curve but once you get to know your smoker you really can keep a constant temp for hours.

My brother finally got his first buck and it was max an hour after sun up opening day in my favorite unit. Long story short my brother has had a lot of bad luck while hunting. Took a bad fall the 2nd day of his last deer hunt, my dad put him in for a 7e late bull elk hunt on accident instead of 6a and he got drawn. The list goes on and on but he hasn't harvested an animal in about 12 years. He almost didn't want to go on this hunt. He was a the Las Vegas route 91 concert. Some of the stuff he saw messed him up a bit but 2 weeks before he said he was good to go. I was jacked i had found a bunch of bucks during the otc deer hunt and just couldn't seal the deal. Opening morning we are glassing one of my favorite spots when I see a few deer within 300 yards of us. At first it was just two does then a button buck and then it just seemed like the whole hill was moving with deer. I tell me dad and brother to head at them while I stay up high and keep eyes on them. They both take off and within minutes i notice they are heading way right. I do a mad dash with my tri pod in hand to make my way to them when I get stuck out in the middle with a buck looking right at me about 200 yards. I set the tripod down and get eyes on him, at the same time my brother i sware puts his gun up on his shoulder to look at what he thinks is a deer and it's the same buck i am staring at. In a matter of seconds he lays the hammer down on his first buck. I watch the deer crumble in my binos. He was on cloud 9 for the rest of the weekend. He needed some much needed time in God's country.

I'm all excited, bring on the snow.

I will be in 6a and 6b helping some friends and family out. Think nasty stuff near water, I believe for this hunt, unless some weather rolls on in.

Less antelope tags in 10 is a good thing and I see they snuck in a rifle rut hunt with 30 tags in some crappy unit.
