Ernesto we always call them scorpion killers after we saw one eating a scorpion Iactually never kill them for that reason -
Now that would make a heck of a full mount at Cabellas

Hey coosefan where abouts are you going and what exactly are you hunting. I used to hunt in Alaska quite a bit and worked for a buddy of mine with a guide service out of anchorage and saw a couple guys kill caribou with the 270 they are pretty easy to take down but the grizz might take more than one shot. I just picked up a 270 remington 700 and was wondering if the 4x14.5 with the adjustable was worht the extra bucks just curious if yours is the AO.Josh

Hey guys any advice on which one to get. I have a pair of the 15x56's and love them but want to get some 10's for around the neck and was wandering if the EL's are worth the extra cash.I know they are a little lighter but sure do see alot of guys wearing the slc's. Any comments are greatly appreciated thanks Josh

Thanks again for the info I ended up finding a set of new 10x42 slc's for 1100.00 on EBAY it was my first purchase from EBAY and now I'm addicted to finding good deals on there. I think I am going to bite the bullet on the Outdoorsmans tripod set up and stop wasting time now that i know I am drawn for antelope elk and white tail I think with all that glassing the tripod will pay for itself.
