Great looking Buck. I have a friend in 12AE and they are struggling to find Mature Bucks. Looks like he will be taking it to the end of the season.

I’ve hunted Elk with Duwane and planned on hunting the Kaibab with him when/if I ever draw but recently found out he is no longer guiding. I have heard he just retired and I’ve heard he lost his guide license, what are you guys there in Arizona hearing ?

Nothing as expected hoping for better luck in the Deer draw.

With all the snow the west is getting it got me wondering if the Kaibab Deer herd gets much winter kill or is the winter range elevation low enough it’s not a concern ?

I’m in but not much hope with only 4 NR points.

Well I’ve drawn 2 Archery Elk September tags in that time so not really complaining just disappointed.

I didn’t draw 12AW late with 23 NR points. 😭

I’m just thinking out loud here but what if one of his guides without his knowledge was baiting and got caught. Since he was working for The outfitter would Duwane take the hit for that ?

I talked to Nick seems like a pretty good guy. They also had a couple guys retire including Frank Lopez that’s disappointing I really liked Framk.
