Rifle Stock Painting
Shedhunteraz replied to lancetkenyon's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Good ol' Lance i cannot thank you enough for what you did with that POS PCR Rifle. From the load development to the paint on the stock. I can't explain how pleased i am and how much it means to me that you spent the time on that for me when i was in a pinch. Probably the nicest human i have ever met. Thank you very much again. Now get back to work and get my 28 development from Axis Works done -
Have mine on order. Will let you know.

Shedhunteraz replied to lancetkenyon's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I'd shoot but someone has my rifles -
We are right under the rim and i was extremely bad this am. Praying for these folks and hot shot crews. Very scary with how dry it is. Hope they get a handle on this before the weekend

I would agree on this. The bad part of cameras is the salt that goes with the cameras. There is a very well known spot in the N half where not kidding 8 tree stands and 20 or more cameras all within a 1/4 of each other. Salt on each one of the cameras and tree stands. You think that doesn't have an effect on the animals. Just sad what it has come to nowadays.

Pm me I have a stock pile

Need to outlaw them period. We know of roughly 250 in N alone. If you can learn how to hunt with out cameras and salt find a new job or hobby

Thats awesome glad he is getting to go back home.

Worked with and bought rifles from a lot of these "rifle builders". You will not find a more knowledgeable better gun smith than with Eric at Axis Gun Works.

Always. Kneeling down, angles, pretty much whatever you can imagine in the field you would do or come across, try to replicate it. -
Giving this a shot with the hunting base. Long story short, bought my then 4 year old a 1954 GMC long bed 5 window (grandpas birth year) Now he is 9. Idea was to put a hydramatic in the long bed. Obviously didnt research to well. Anyways bought a full rolling 54 chassis. As a donor. Was supposed to be long bed. Find out later they never made a long bed. SO, now i have a full numbers matching short bed 54 gmc with the coveted Hydramatic tranny. Looking to get it out of my yard. Would be great project for a dad and son. Ours is just beginning. Any questions PM me.

Well my 2014 Archery Bull finally got done. Dale and Heather absolutely went above and beyond on this mount for me. Dale and Heather are very close friends of our family, so i gave him total creative control on this one. Then he asks me if he can use it in a competition? Does a bear poop in the woods? So he got after it and created this. If any of you haven't seen his work up close, spend the time to go out and see this piece. His attention to detail on all animals is incredible. Thanks again to Dale and Heather. You guys are in my opinion the best taxidermist i have ever used or seen.

Get out and learn the country. Get some miles on your feet this spring and into summer. Find the cow herds and you will be just fine.
