They are fired up in our neck of the woods too. Very hard to get a goods nights rest with them scream outside the cabin in the meadow all night long. Gonna be a great year, growth looks good and seeing some real nice bulls. Hopefully pixman will have some pics to share with you all here in the next few weeks from around here.

Like I said not trying to be jerk. Had hunters all around us also and someone told my dad hey there wAs two point around corner. Went and found a herd of 13 bucks. Just have to get out and around regardless of people. Actually people push them around and cN pattern them. Keep at it they are there.

Well sorry to hear that. there is tons of deer up there. I would suggest not driving so much and walk and glass. Went up weds to our other house with my father in law, put maybe 7 miles on my boots not 300 miles on a vehicle. Saw 20 plus turkeys, and 32 bucks in two days. Pretty eventful weekend if he hadn't missed 3 different times. Hope everyones hunts went well. P.S. not trying to be a jerk in this post but opening weekend is a nightmare up here with all the hunters and road hunters, you would be amazed if you go off the beaten trail just a few miles to what you will see

YOU NEVER LEAVE BONE!!!!. You would be amazed at the chalk pile we have at the cabin. Ridiculous.

You will know in 30 days if it has life. We tend to "try" an area up to a year. Sometimes the hit and sometimes they don't. Depending on where you have it, up north or down in the lower elevation will make some difference. All of our good cameras have been fairly slow this year. But when we get a weather pattern or shift they come back. Good luck, post some pics when you get them.

I am in the wrong camp if you bring a couch on a hunt. Lol

Dale its a good thing you don't already run business and would go the extra mile anyway to make sure everything is legal with the state and game and fish. Seriously this website is getting to the point of not being enjoyable anymore. If any of you have met dale he just enjoys helping people and would do anything to help recover an animal. I am positive being a business owner and a taxidermist he has to have a few license's and jump through a few hoops. I am sure a 50 year old guy loves being told by a kid how make sure an operation what ever it is is legal or not.
