Most pieces are 10 guage, about 1/8". We do muse thinner material if we mount along with a mirror, just to reduce the weight. The clock shown is made out of 1/4" steel.

I heard the same thing. Bass Pro doesnt even stock the SLC 15's anymore, you have to special order them. If new 15's are on the horizon, why would you special order an obsolete model. Wish we could just get the whole story.

I use the rhino 530 and love it, we usually have one for every person in our hunting party. Makes it nice to look at one screen and see where everyone position is in relation to yours. Also a radio with up to 14 mile range, hard to beat

Do you have original case, lens covers, etc.

Thanks for the information, I'm not sure what to think about that either. I may have to break down and actually research and read.
-
Apparently you know something I dont. Im not much for research, please give me/us a cliff note version.

I take it you dont mind helping azsfw rip tags away from the citizens of arizona. Buy anything from outdoorsmans and you are helping to damage hunting in arizona forever. Plenty of other tripods that are far superior and half the price. I would ask that you and anyone else in the market look into what the outdoorsmans owner tried to do to hunters in arizona. This goes far beyond an average boycott.
-
Ive owned several different tripods but never an outdoorsmans. After using a buddies on a coues hunt last year i'm definately sold on their product and will definately have one before next season.

While I'm not an expert on the subject, I think were need to also take into consideration the total opposition to forestry brought on by the extreme enviromentalists and their deep pocketed lobbiests over the past 20 yrs and put some of the blame on them. All we have to do is look along the western border of units 1 and 27 to see how forestry can protect a forest. I definitely agree that some of the blame goes to the USFS and to the irresponsible campers, I just think there are more parties that should be held accountable.

I also received mine today, and two outfitter propaganda packs.
