    What's Scarier?

Glad your still alive Arizona Guide. I'm sure these dangerous encounters are rare, but are still very possible. How many people do you know that have been robbed while sound a sleep in their bed? I don't know any personally, but dang sure I keep a loaded 357 right next to mine. I know very few people who don't have some sort of weapon close to there bed eventhough they have never been robbed. All these encounters are very rare, but we should still all be prepared. As much as some of us get a field, the chances just keep increasing. Better to be safe than sorry. Ain't that the truth TAM.

    Seat for Glassing

I use the cushion seat that has a bottom cushion and back support. I dont know really how else to explain it. Alot of people use them on bleachers. They are the soft ones that fold up. It is neat because you can lean back and still sit upright because the weight of your body is holding the bottom cushion down. Very comfortable. They sale them at Walmart or sportsmans or really just about anywhere. Fit in pack fine too.

    Backpack hunting.

Your right about that one DesertBull. Roads and people are popping up everywhere. It's kind of hard to think of places that would require a long back pack trip in AZ. Maybe a day or so in the places I hunt. CMC, hopefully you can a trip in on your buddies hunt. Good idea to test all the gear out.
  4. Howdy ya'll. I know this is a coues website and I am a coues freak, but my girlfriend drew the oct. unit 32 md hunt. She is 2 for 2 hunting coues and wanted to try something a little different. We were unable to do alot of scouting due to school and work so I was wondering if anybody knew of any spots that might hold some nice bucks. I have never hunted md in this unit. I'll even trade some sweet wt info on some hot spots in units 31 or 32 if anybody is interested. Good luck to all.

    Backpack hunting.

How far do you guys usually pack in? Is it only a couple miles or way far? Just curious because I'm wanting to try it and not sure how to determine if the packing in is alot more effeciant than having to walk in every mornin real early. That's what I've been doing and it kind of sucks.

    Mace's Buck

Congradulations again Mace, One heck of a deer. Like everyone said "that deer is a once in a lifetime buck," but that deer you done bagged, so it's time to start looking for another once in a lifetime buck for next year. It is goin to be hard to beat, but you could do it. I can't even imagin the BS you would get for shooting 2 130" bucks. Thats sad, but there is a lot of sad people out there as you've seen. As long as you hunt for yourself you shouldn't even care what anybody else thinks. It's kind of funny that one little o'l coues whitetail would stir up all this S***. Hope to run into you in the field again. Maybe it will be my turn. good job and good luck K.G. P.S. I am also a Safford Boy and dang proud of it.
