Looks like some changes are coming to this great campsite. It sure looks to me like it is going to be shut down. I couldn't get a straight answer from the forest service. They just talked some crap about an endangered snake.

I have been there 3 times. I would suggest a guide , so you dont get lost or tear up a rental boat. I have never hired anyone, I went with people who knew the lake. A seven day vacation on powell is better than hawaii.

If my card is not hit on the first day its over for me, and I have been using the same card since the online draw started. My card does get hit more often than not, so I think its done in one day . Credit card discrepancies makes it last a little longer. IMO

I thought this was a gun sale. I'm grabbin all I can!

My wife ordered and put a down payment on an AK. The gun was available for pick up today, so I went with her for the pick up. Up on our arrival they asked for payment and it was finalized. They then had her sit at a computer and fill out her background info. Then they entered the gun info and serial #. We were then told to wait and see if she was approved. I questioned the clerk why we paid for the gun before the background check and he replied "thats the law". I then told him that I have never paid before the check at every place I have ever purchased a gun. Next he said, every other place is doing it illegal. He was kind of a chit head. (They charge you $25.00 if you don't pass the background check) ? Got the gun home and checked it out a little more and realized there was no owners manual in the box. Gave them a call , and it was O' well call the manufacturer. Maybe I'm an idiot, but I won't go back to Tombstone Tactical.

The gun was purchased from them.
