Im going to load some .270 wsm with 140 grain sierra gameking sbt. I have imr 7828, h1000, r19 and h4831sc. I have found loads with all these powders , just looking for the best place to start. Thanks

I found a load on real guns for sierra 140s , 66 grains imr 7828 cci mag primer . Every thing matches , I may start there. Tombstone is a long ways to trade powder. Brunos here in phoenix had lots of powder, but they are charging about $12.00 more a pound than other places.

There is a gun safe store on the south bound frontage road, between the 101 and bell rd. They have a huge safe you can see from the freeway.

My savage .270 wsm kicks about the same as my .338, but I like it.

Got it back from remington . The scope mounted as it should. I re-mounted the scope, and bore sighted. Finally the results . 100 yards 1 shot 8.5 inches right horizontal perfect. Dialed 8.5 left and shot 3 more. The results .498 150 grain core-lokt. After that I shot some of my new hand loads and wasnt impressed. I will have to try some other loads.
