I think you are right, but their on the right page.

I was raised a little religious and spent time in church. As an adult I dont think I need to donate money to a religious group. They can call it what they want. To me its MERRY CHRISTMAS. If some folks want to re-name the day, OH WELL.

We were fortunate to fill a few tags in unit 21. My oldest sons first buck all on his own. My youngest son was not able to get a shot opportunity even though we found several other bucks. I did call in his first yote to smoke. My buck hit at 679 yards and killed at 313 yards.

My opinion is that "optional" will not make very good statistics. The stats they show in the regs are optional.

How will they ever come close to knowing success, unless everyone has to mandatory report. I am not advocating mandatory checks, but I see no other way if people want the stats even close.

Back east the check stations are little markets, bait stores and sporting goods stores. I would think that it helps their small businesses. Not sure.

Mandatory check stations I know are in Ohio. No check no draw, I'm not sure how that could work if you didn't harvest. I think we are on the same page though.

I thought you left them on the porch and they froze. Never heard of that brand l'll have to check them out.

I feel that there is no point to their survey if it is optional. The only way the survey could have any accuracy , is if it were mandatory. Just a waste of postage and time in my opinion.
