Buy a carpet door strip. Trim carpet a bit and screw it down. If it's wood sub floor it's that easy. If it's concrete, drill some holes, buy appropriate screws and anchors.

I went with this one a few years ago. I have went over a week camping and never had a battery problem or a need to run the genny. I hard mounted the controller, but just throw the panel wherever it gets the most sun. I think I paid less than $150.
