Went out for an hour to test these guys out. I found 1 young ram 1 ewe across the lake from the first bridge. Almost a mile away. There is a pull off just east of the first bridge I will park off.

These are the best photos I could get to show where they were. I had to free hand it. I have just ordered my phone skope for them though. Extremely impressed with the SLC's. I can't imagine how clear the new models and HD's are.

I honestly can't tell the difference side by side with the HD's

May have missed it but drones are a good way to get a harassing wildlife charge.  If you’re using a drone and start chasing them with it to video it you’re probably violating the law.

also it’s 48 hours before a hunt in that unit.  Not 48 hours before your hunt.  So if you have a December elk tag and fly in august/september during the archery deer hunt that is still illegal.

I think you are a little off.

  3. My brother in law is really into drones. Last year after the archery hunt we were out listening to bugles and he sent one up to see if he could spot the bull. I don't think they would really even be much help in most situations. Where we ran into an issue was on his sheep hunt he wanted to use it to take footage during the hunt of us driving and hiking but didn't want to risk it.

Smith & Wesson J Frame. My wife had 1 in 38spl. She has wrist issues so we sold that 1 and bought her a 22 mag S&W j Frame.

No safety, no slide, no jamming. Point and shoot.

I agree to a point. I see way too many carry revolvers that get neglected and won't function. Its easy to forget about if your wife is carrying it but they need to be cleaned even if they aren't being shot. If they get thrown in a purse all kinds of stuff can get in there and gunk things up. As far as being more simple to operate I 100% agree.

Oh it's not that I won't eat them. It's just she loves them and she eats a completely raw diet so it's basically collecting dog food.

I didn't think you wouldn't I was just pointing out I think its weird some guys eat dove but won't touch them. I have a buddy that will shoot limits of coots for dog treats. Good way to have fun and feed the dog!

Never have. The ones that I clean I give to the dog although the meat looks perfectly fine just looks like a big Dove breast

I always found it odd that guys will shoot and eat dove but throw away the pigeons on the same trip. To me they taste exactly the same. Looks like fun!

  7. I just showed that to a buddy on Facebook. Last weekend we were talking about how we are catfish cursed. We just can't seem to catch them. That is one happy looking fisherman! nice job!

Subarus are not repair friendly. Staying with the two mentioned.

There isn't any new car that is repair friendly. The new Toyotas can be a nightmare. My little chevy commuter car has to go to the dealer just to change the transmission fluid. Some of the SUV's we looked at I couldn't even put a battery in. Hope you find her something that works good for her. I got pretty frustrated shopping the last few months and just took a break. One of the trucks we looked at sold private party for 7k over KBB. We offered high KBB and they wouldn't even counter offer.
