Early in the season is tougher for sure.  At least from what I have observed.  I do not spend much of my time in the deep canyons so what I have seen more whitetail bucks in December and January.  Right now, I can find WT does super easy right along common roads, but the bucks don't show up until closer to the rut.

Yup. That is why I think it will be a tough hunt. It's a great time to be out in the woods though. I am pretty sure we can find a few bucks, just not sure we will be able to get at them. The lack of rain could really help.

I need a Home Gas 40gal water heater. Ours sprung a leak. It is the original one that came with the house nearly 20yrs old.

    Can anyone recommend a brand?

Any specific brand I should stay away from?

I apologize as this is not an ad for something offered up for sale but I do know alot of us get these notifications so I am posting here.

Sorry I don't know about brands, but we went tankless in our last house and were very happy with it. We bought a Bosch on amazon for about $500. Super easy install and worked very well for the 18mo before we moved.

Stanley had nothing to do with it. I edited MY post since it was obvious it would wind up in the cesspool.

    Have fun.

Next time send it to ONESHOT and let him post it. He aint scared. Why sensor yourself?

Your best bet is to drive around. They will fly if near a road. I've seen doves in 7 but it's hard to pinpoint a spot they like. Any tank with water should have some nearby but it sounds like those are scarce right now. Sunflower patches attract them but since it's hardly rained those might be hard to find. Good luck!

There are lots of sunflowers right now.
