I started weighing them a long time ago just for fun. I keep hearing about all these 50 and 60lb coyotes, but I have yet to kill one. Out of more than 50 coyotes 38lbs is the biggest so far.

That fox looks great! I am pretty sure there is a thread with pics of that mount, look back a few pages

Not sure what Winchester you are looking at, but Cabelas had a few used Winchester Coyote lites. I really like those rifles. I think they were in teh $400.00 range

I really like my Dead Coyote choke. It shoots a lot better than the Dead Dog I tried, but all guns are different. If you look a few pages down, I posted some pattern testing I did a while back. Best thing you can do is buy it and try it out. If you can spare the extra cash, but 2 or 3 different tubes and try them all. Good Luck! BTW The Bargin Cave at Cabelas had a ton of tubes a few weeks ago.

We went out and checked the cameras this weekend. We had 263 pictures of game animals off of 2 cameras since mid June. I think I finally found a spot to put my treestand for the archery cow hunt. Both cameras took over 2000 pictures with all the wind, so the batteries went dead last week. Here are a few of the pics.

Just wanted to let everyone know to be very careful of Bowhunters Superstore International. I placed an order with them last year and it took 3 weeks to get my stuff. This year I placed an order just because they were the only place I could find the broadheads I wanted. It only took a week to get my package, but it was just an empty box. It took 6 weeks of calling every day to get my stuff. The lady in the customer service dept would tell me my stuff was in the mail everytime I talked to her. She finally just stopped taking my calls all together. When I finally got through to the owner, he didn't even care. Never even apologized. I got my stuff, but will never order from them again.

Thanks guys. Finding all the cheap parts was the hardest thing about it. I found some great deals, the upper I bought was all parts with no barrel. I had to put it together. Here is a link to where I got the upper. I had to call him to get a better deal on a parts kit upper, and shipping took 4wks. The lower took about 8wks to get, but it gave me time to build and machine the upper. link to the upper http://www.rguns.net/

This is the new calling rifle I put together over the last few months. Its not the R-15 that I wanted, but I saved a bundle by going this route. Most of the time I only call with a shotgun, but last year we had a few hang up out of shotty range, so I decided to put together a semi auto .223. All said and done it cost me $575.00 and it shoots pretty good.

I noticed them last Saturday when I was down in Tucson. We stopped by and they let us in to look around even though they weren't open. Looks like its going to be a great shop. Lots of gear, good prices, and very friendly. I think he said they would be open late this week or early next week.
