A few years ago we had a pocket of bulls going crazy on the late archery. They did that for about 3 days and then we never heard another peep out of them.

There is plenty of water, but a lot of the small tanks are drying up fast.

We bought a used 2005 GMC a few years ago with an aftermarket JVC installed in the dash. I never thought much about it until a couple of weeks ago when we had to drive clear across the state for a funeral. There aren't enough toys and books to keep a 6yo happy for 16 hours of sitting in 2 days. While I was getting gas my wife ran over to the Redbox and rented a couple of movies for our boy to watch. It worked out great! What I really liked about the JVC is that I could control everything from the factory controls on the steering wheel. If I needed to hear what he or my wife were saying I could pause the movie.

If you can find one of these on ebay they are pretty good for the money. https://www.amazon.com/330DX-Tripod-3-Way-Quick-Release/dp/B00009R6R9/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_bdcrb_top?ie=UTF8

Hunting Access From Highways

I have probably parked in that stretch 25 times checking cameras or hunting. We got an orange sticker one time because we were too close to the entrance ramp. I was told to park well off the shoulder and leave a note. We never had another issue. -
My grandpa had a few of those cots. One of them had a bullet lodged in the cross member.

I was in MO for year when I was 18. Horrible place to live if you like public land and being outdoors. Unless you own 500+ acres you cant do much.

Powell Springs is a great spot to camp. We use to take our 26ft trailer up there a lot in the summer.

AGFD - 2020-21 dove, band-tailed pigeon regulations

We killed a few down by Willcox when I was growing up. We would pond jump ducks and sometimes get a snipe or 2. If you don't like eating dove, you would hate snipe! -
I live just west of Parks and I have a hard time calling up here. When I lived in the desert I called a lot and could kill 30 or 40 a year all with a shotgun. Up here I probably only kill one every 10 stands. I think its easy for the coyotes to get your wind before you see them through the trees. In the last 5 years up here I have called more bobcats and foxes than coyotes.

you forgot to mention he is 137.7lbs

I know its not quite the same but I have been to Jackson Lake in Wyoming a few times. We hire a guide for a day and then spend a few days out on our own in a rented boat. We go in June or July and have always had great luck catching Browns and Lake trout.

Did you catch any of the Muskies they put in there?

Where did you catch the fish? I use to go to Horse Thief Basin when I lived in Cordes. Haven't been there in several years.
