It cracks me up that so many guys can spend time reading through these threads (in general), researching the topic (to be right), take the time to type up a response and proof it several times to make sure they are not made fun of for spelling errors (I am not excluding myself) and then..... only 1-2 can find the time to attend a Game and Fish meeting as an advocate. (and its usually the same guys every time)

if you haven't been there already, take your wife to El Rancho Grande. NW corner of Broadway & Southern in Mesa. It is little mexico inside a grocery store. The food inside is great.

Papadeaux's is legit dining. I would only go there if I am on that side of town but the food is great.

Finally got around to saving up some money and getting my bear made into a rug. Had it for a while but never got around to posting pics. Hopefully this will help the time pass until next elk season haha. I decided to go open mouth because when I popped him in the heart and he turned my direction this was the last thing I saw before he was lights out. Mean, majestic and natural is how I wanted to see this guy for the rest of my life.

I know in the 5 year plan they were trying to reduce the # of elk to help the deer population but DANG it's a circus up there for the archery and the Late hunt. 4k tags through the season. Getting out of control.

pm if you want more info. I personal own the ones i mentioned and shot a bunch before I purchased. I feel crossbows are like binos. There are hundreds of brands but only a few you wont be annoyed you spent your money on later down the road.

The Barnett Ghost 410 will be your cheapest/most powerful and smooth shooting bow. However if you want to save $$$ order a Centerpoint Sniper 370. Every bit as good just a little less powerful. They are usually on backorder but well worth the wait. invest in a bunch of lumenoks as well. You're gonna need them.
