If I am back in far I field dress and then carry it back to my vehicle. I keep my heads intact with the skin to show the family and for pics later. I just think it looks better and don't want to gross my little girls out. I always bring coolers with dry ice and bone out, dry and ziplock all my meat before I even hit the road. I actually really like doing it that way so when I get home everything is just ready to be placed in the freezer and I am in no hurry as I know the meat will be fine on the drive home. I have never paid for a butcher for any animal. I do keep some steaks from freezing though. Fresh meat always tastes the best.

Anyone else getting itchy for aug 23rd??
ready2hunt replied to Bitter24's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
I got my eye on a few bucks. I am hoping this is the year I finally kill a deer with a bow. It's all I can think about!!! -
anyone ever had any issues with charges going through on a chase credit card? Other than not enough $$ in the account. Normally I just put my debit card # in but this year I actually put it on my chase credit card.

Kidso for prez! great job!!

Where ever that spot is...it looks like you had hit the jackpot. The buck on the left in the first pic is a beast

MY CARD WAS HIT! Happens every time my wife goes to the mall. No idea about the draw results though

That's funny....guess our opinions didn't help this decision

I have 3 of the primos truth 35 but not the "ultra." It's the model before that. They are going on 5 years old...not a single issue and have terrific resolution. All my primos cams have the same mega pixel count. If you want to see some examples looks at some of the pics I have posted up. If my old ones work good then I would venture to say the ultra is good too. I've said it before.....people will knock the primos brand but their cameras have very few customer complaints compared to others.

Found this while turkey hunting this year. [img=http://www.coueswhitetail.com/forums/public/style_images/club_3_4/attachicon.gif] image.jpg That answers that question....thanks

Has anyone ever found a bull skull (dead obviously) without antlers? As they get close to death do they stop shedding them? Any thoughts?

if we even have to get together and taste some of the recipes i'll do it. I'll sacrifice my stomach for the good of others. I don't care how much good food I have to eat. That's how far I will go for this forum....thank me later

"Mineral Blocks" manufactured for livestock fall under Section C as it was explained to me as it is a salt based product.

Went an checked my cameras. Got some decent pics even after having a bear take a chunk out of my camera...I found it this time on the ground and 1/2 my pics were of the sky as you'll see from the last pic. The fuzziness in the middle of the pic is the crack in the glass from where a bear took a bite.
-
This bear has been driving me nuts. I hope to have his smug face on my wall come bear season. His days are numbered.

Its possible. Happened to me when I got married.

They were certainly lighter colored...not dark at all. Again it was dark but I had him pretty well illuminated

wow this thread took a completely unexpected direction. As far as pete's place...I was talking about elk.....not yetti's I should go buy a lotto ticket....as strange as it sounds. Well thanks for the input. I have never heard them bugle this early so I guess anything is possible.
