same here thanks -
Hey everyone. As some of you know I work for a company that does cellular & developmental research regarding nutrition. I am starting a new project that is still in alpha stage and would love some input. I am looking for (2) groups of individuals. Houndsmen who run dogs. AND/OR Pet owners who's dog's have allergies, arthritis, inflammation & intestinal issues. The goal would be to speak with the owners on the phone and ask them a series of questions regarding their pets health, diet etc. Nothing personal just data gathering. If you or someone you know would be kind enough to lend me some a little phone time or even fill out a questionnaire (phone preferably) I would really appreciate it. In beta stage we hope to do some testing (all free.) Send me a pm if you or someone you know would be willing to talk. Again, there is ZERO obligation or personal info required. Thanks of taking the time to read and I appreciate any help. Good luck to all the tag holders!

Headed to 31, Last minute advice
ready2hunt replied to AT Hiker's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
my advice is don't pee uphill. Trust me. On a serious note- +1 to flatlanders advice. I have found a more mobile glassing technique to be more effective in the thicker areas. Plus it give you the opportunity to see those small shady places we all seem to come across when glassing. Good luck, hope you tag out. -
dang- that's crazy business right here. I would love to get one like that one day

do the numbers mean that it's non-typical?

New rifle caliber choice? You tell me!

338 Lapua Its big enough for everything -
Long story short- my dad spine tapped this bull at 60 yards. It was 7am, 12 degrees and we were home by 2pm. Had my kids with me and I couldn't have been more proud. They pitched in and helped with the field dressing. We weren't sure my dad would be able to hunt anymore with his health issues but we were all happy to spend this hunt with him. Such a blast to tag out. Thanks for the help Brian and good luck to all you other hunters.

+1 to fatigue shooting. Military has been using those methods for years. Once you can induce it THEN practicing can become truly effective as you can learn to control it. It's like learning how not to blink, flinch or seize when you are pulling the trigger on your weapon.

Water is the real thing to be looking for. Are there any water sources nearby? Did you see any scat? -
don't eat yellow snow

IF you are starting out my suggestion would be the "Hellcat." Its a modified military Alice Pack- you wont find something better for the price in my opinion. THIS IS NOT YOUR DAY PACK THOUGH. Its not only a hunting pack but also a bug out bag. If you are wanting to spend a lot of money then you can go with the higher end brand names. They have great quality and great warranty's. But again if you want to save money and want a bag that will carry as much weight as you want it too then the Hellcat is my choice and it's only $60. This bag is not the traditional ALICE as it has the upgraded Molle straps. Go to "The old Grouch Military Surplus" on the web and look it up. Anyone out there still use a traditional ALICE?

awesome. I think we all wanted a falcon growing up. Who wouldn't?! Thanks for sharing! -
+1 There needs to be better coordination between fulfilling the online course and completing the field day. Let us know how this turns out.

that monster but scored as much as my first elk hahaha that is just crazy!

ya its tough because its not the most sought after item and during this time of year, when we are more than 1/2 way through the season, people have their gear. As a Christmas present is your best bet. best of luck! its a good spotter!

ANY hotel that offers the same amenities would cost twice as much. Great offer, I will take you up on it when I have a hunt in that unit. -
according to this story there is a lot to be learned here. Assuming it was an unintentional mistake- I don't understand the need some people have to see others suffer for their mistakes?? Since when does a citation dictate an end-all cure to the situation. Sounds like the local needs to relax and start worrying about his own issues and not others. Why does this local need any sort of satisfaction other than doing the right thing- which it sounds like he did. Props to the GW for taking the deer and HOPEFULLY donating it as food to those who could use it. In high school I broke a law at a party and was given a warning after being arrested- never broke that law again. - No citation was necessary- lesson learned. Doesn't work for everyone but hey that's life.
