Full archery set up for sale! I need to fund some new equipment so I am going to sell my archery setup. This is a ready to hunt package. There is absolutely nothing that needs to be replaced or worked on- not even a scratch on the bow. Parker bows has a great program as well where you can replace the axels for different weights. This bow has the 70lbs limbs but you can buy and install the lighter ones for kids. I'd keep it but my girls are only interested in recurve and they are set up already. Package Includes: Parker Wildfire XP AtA Length 31.24 Draw Length 29" Draw Weight 70 lbs Speed 310fps Weight 3.8 lbs Let-Off 80% Manufactured/purchased; 2012 Sighted out to 60yards Draw length and weight is adjustable Dual Caliper Trigger release (4) Arrow + some used ones 3 brand new swhacker 100gr broadheads 1 Muzzy 100gr 3 blade broadhead Bow wax 6 pin sight Aluminum stabilizer (threaded for a camera) 4 arrow quiver Plano Bow case I am asking $350 for everything OBO. I am not lookin for trades at this time but am open to cash offers.

Just make an offer fellas Trying to fund some new equipment for the family. It's a great setup especially for starters with enough power to take down anything az has to offer. All offers will be considered (except trades-need cash)

    Faught Ridge

Rain in the forecast in a week. 30-70% chance in some places. Let's home even a small part of that holds true.
  5. awesome bulls. Great job fellas and thanks for sharing. Congrats to the hunters.

    Ever have this happen?

Those are the best bulls in my opinion. I know many hunters who are looking for the perfect symmetrical racks but the ones that are non-typical are so unique I would much have one of those on my wall. Even if its a smaller one.

I purchased it in 2012 from Bass Pro Shops I don't have the original receipt though.

    Ever have this happen?

Thanks for sharing those trail cam pics- pixman. By the looks of the crown on that top bull he is got some girth to him. I would shoot him. A few more years and he will start to get that cool character to him. Fun to see the bulls this time of year!

Ban feral hog hunting to hep eliminate feral hogs. I am no biologist but can someone smarter than me give me a better explanation??

    Hunting/skinning knife?

If you're really wanting an heirloom knife then I would suggest you look into Randall Knives. It's a once in a lifetime buy seriously. Their military/survival line is impressive. But I will never go hunting without my havalon knife and I have an outdoor edge swing blade as a backup. Good luck

Noob looking for cold weather gear.

+1 on the welcome. Don't have any to sell but look into the brand "Artic Shield." I bought the jacket/parka and pants a few years ago and could not be more happy. I had borrowed friends and tried a few before I settled in mine. Water proof and wind proof and not nearly as expensive and some of the other on the market. You can probably get a jacket and pants or bibs for the same price and a jacket with some other brand. Google them you won't be disappointed

    WTB .40 Cal pistol

Glock gen. 22 .40 cal was my duty weapon- get that one if your gonna buy. Interchangeable parts, easy to replace and low maintenance/cost. I love the glock .45 as well and is my preferred self dense handgun as far as semi autos go. 9mm is a waste in my opinion. (no offense to the 9mm lovers) Yes it can kill, so can a .38, .22 or a pellet gun. Get something that is going to do some damage even if it's not a perfect shot. Colt .45 225gr critical defense ammo is my one of my favorites. Packs a punch. Saw a guy get shot in the belt buckle with a 9mm- stopped the bullet but not the threat- No thanks. Even if I am shooting someone with body armor I want a bullet that is going to make the person or animal think twice before taking a second hit.

Dry Ice in a yeti/rtic cooler?

I always use dry ice. The key to regulating how cold everything gets is to wrap it in newspaper. I have found just a couple of layers (literally 2-3 pieces layered) is just enough. It keeps the dry ice insulated (thus lasting an extra day) and doesn't give all my stuff frost bite. When I am just doing fruits and veggies then I will wrap the ice a little more and have NEVER had an issue. We go camping for about 1 1/2 weeks every year and for that long trip I will throw the ice in a plastic bag as well so nothing gets wet either. Just makes it easier on me. Might sound like a lot of work but when compared to driving an hour to get more ice in a spare cooler a couple of times....its worth every bit.

Good Tag? 7 East Peaks Hunt Area 10/21-10/27 Any Elk..

+1 to what Lance said. I am not experienced in that unit however, based upon the fact that each one of those pics you posted have a big bull on the SIDE of a mountain I would tend to believe what you are saying. Some good looking animals there.

    Ever have this happen?

thanks for sharing wht_mtnman, thats a shooter in my book. Most of the pics I have the bulls are all pretty much done by mid June. I am sure there is a +/- for inches but I have never seen a noticeable difference in that time frame.

Thoughts on the area's with fresh burn...

Wow- good point of view...that wouldn't have ever crossed my mind. I hate people that live in Munds Park

Rim waters with a fly rod

Chevlon would give you the best results IMO. My standard go-to is a top/mid water muddler minnow and a deep wooly bugger. I'll try anything but I have always had good results with those.
