I just got done watching the new shed hunting video from the boys at tinesup.com (they shed'em i find'em vol II ) these guys pick up huge sets for 360-400" elk sheds and over 200" deer sheds. Has anyone ever hunted the Navajo res? How was it? Did you see a good amount of animals? My girlfriend is Native American so im putting her in next year for deer and elk. She can get deer and elk tags for $45. So why not. I was Just wondering if anyone has ever hunted or spent any time out there. I see alot of pictures of big bucks and bulls off there. Im just thinking the opportunity is there so why not take advantage of it.

One of my buddies here in town shot a bull (twice) during the first week of the hunt. I will get a hold of him tomorrow. And see what he has to say?

I have about 30 mins of video of that buck in the 3rd picture. In full velvet, It was a 14x16 when I filmed it. Ther was only about 6 inches between the top of the left and right antler. The buck is no where to be found now days.

While out on a ride with my little girl we spotted this antler from the road. She was so excited to run over and pick it up. Once I explained to her that elk drop 2 antlers, she was anxious to find the other side. The following weekend her mom picked up the other side which was busted up.
