If you are comfortable shooting that setup and are confident you can put the arrow where it needs to be then you will kill the elk with that setup. Just remember arrow placement is what kills and kills fast. That's número uno. You can get other stuff that you like or feel even more confident in and hey that's part of the fun too.

I'm speculating here.. But I would imagine they would run through all the cards to be charged. Then generate a list of bad cards to call on. After their allotted time for calling people to make payment is over they would run cards for the tags that didn't get the payment satisfied. That's what I would think but you never know how their system works or doesn't work so we will see! Good luck guys and unfortunately it's a long slow process so there is still hope! I would take a look at the easton fullbore pack. This pack is awesome. It is hugely expandable with a giant stuff sack yet is perfect for a day pack as well. Has the big flaps with buckles similar to the horn hunter packs that are great for strapping anything down on your pack. A packout of an animal or a full load of animals is done with no problem. It is a very comfortable pack and fully adjustable and has great support and a solid lightweight frame. Best of all you can see them on camofire.com for around $100. I went and checked it out at cabelas and knew it was the perfect pack I've been waiting to buy and then I saw it on camofire and pulled the trigger. Enjoyed the pack ever since. You posed the question for "best pack for the money?" Well I think this is it. Worth a good look in my opinion.

Big Browns, We were using a Canon SX50 HS which is not a dslr camera with lenses. It is a super zoom digital camera that takes full hd video. We like it and it can really reach out there but we just need to mind how pixelated it gets at max digital zoom. We noticed the phoneskope and spotting scope combo takes really clear and smooth long distance video as well. Highly recommend it if you are using a spotting scope. Heck, you can find deer easier on the screen of your phone than looking through the scope with one eye. This was a real fun hunt and I was very happy to be a part of it and help put together all this footage for everyone to enjoy a piece of what we experienced. At the beginning we caught the tail end of the coyote with the does but the coyote was chasing a fawn and those does ran him off!! Really cool to witness this and get a piece of it on video. Also really cool to take out that coyote so he won't be bothering them anymore . Congrats again to my friend on an outstanding buck! Thanks for all your comments everyone!

Check out this review that Gila Outdoor did. One of the best reviews/explanations of the new 12x50 class binos I've read. I had 15x56 and this year went to the new vortex razor hd 12x50 and am never looking back. My side by side comparisons still lean toward my 12x50. Brighter, bigger field of view, lightweight design and extreme clarity are all pros that are listed here and that I agree with. Honestly the power difference is extremely difficult to notice on an animal but is noticeable in the much smaller field of view on the 15's as compared to the bigger fov 12's.
