My first love is fishing, at least until hunting season arrives, and even then I usually take my flyrod with me.

I started hunting for Coues deer when I applied for a December tag one year. We didn't expect to get drawn, we just wanted our preference point, and the December Whitetail hunts had the lowest numbers of tags..

We got drawn.

I went and he didn't.

I've been hooked ever since....

Three December tags in area 35B since then.
