Looking to buy a Diesel and would like your opinion
AverageJoe replied to 2 Full Curls's topic in The Campfire
Stay away from the 6.4 but the new ford 6.7 is an awesome motor. I have a 2011 f250 with the 6.7 with 67000 miles and zero problems. The ONLY problem you will find regarding the 6.7 is from people who put less than desirable fuel in it. If water gets in the fuel system it is disastrous. There is a fuel water separator under the frame and i drain it regularly but have never had any water in it. I fill up at good stations. I would go in this order, 2011 or newer ford, then gmc, then chevy, then dodge. -
I always find them on a side slope above a creek. Found matched sets, dead heads, random sheds all maybe 50-200 yds above different creeks. Or overflow drainages from water holes too.

Threat to Firearms Sales on These Classifieds
AverageJoe replied to 40-year-AZ-hunter's topic in Classified Ads
If guns ever try to get confiscated, its war time in the u.s. everyone knows it. Problem is most people are too scared to actually stand up if the time came to fight. No one wants to possibly die, or go to jail, so they just conform. There comes a time to fight, and that time may be near. It will take some prominant leaders to stand up and take lead though. Maybe certain states will stand up, then we should move to those states to support them and help. -
I used to see them a lot in the verde valley OTC area but that was 10 years ago. Not sure if they still make it down there with the otc hunts in effect. I sometimes would see an entire herd in there. Saw some good bulls before as well.

I'll give you $700 for it

So we just go to sportsmans and fill out the paper work or the seller ships to an ffl like is already required. Not too big of a change other than face to face would technically need to be done with an ffl present. But what government doest know, doesnt hurt them. -

Lots of good bulls all over that unit. I prefer the more northern portions of the units. 350 bull is very doable. -
Anyone on here ever use the kenetrek mountain guide non insulated boot? What was your opinion and how long to break them in, how comfortable? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

What makes the 400 gram model better? I am deciding between those or the uninsulated

Starting my planning of going to hunt Idaho for elk next year or the year after. I have never been to Idaho and have no idea where to go other than through research of their website. Anyone here ever been to Idaho to hunt elk in Sept that can give me any advice?

I have heard that about the wolves. For that reason and a few others i was looking into units 22 and 23 which are near hells canyon wilderness. Supposedly not as many wolves there, decent success rate, and not as popular with hunters as other areas, due to the rugged terrain i would guess. Anyone know that area at all?

I dont see where they are attacking archery hunters....can you please explain?

North Korea is tryin' to F@#! on us!!!
AverageJoe replied to 123456's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
They couldnt obliterate seoul but could do some damage. Seoul also has artillery guns on many locations throughout their city. When i was driving around there it was cool to see artillery cannons sticking out over the treeline and machine gun bunkers on many corners. I trained with the ROK Marines and also met some north Korean soldiers. They would surrender in a heartbeat for just one MRE it seemed like. If they surrendered they would be treated way better than they get treated by their own command. The ROK Marines are very well organized and very well trained. Unless China (or russia) comes to the aid of north korea i would not worry too much about who would win that war. -
Tolerance is just a liberal agenda! Tolerance breeds immorality.

Must be tough going through life with such a big chip on your shoulder. You should try to learn how to focus on the good things in life bc777. You are a person that not too many people seem to like and that will get real old as you grow up. Let it go man!!
