Got hit this morning for my December WT tag

Nothing to freak out about...happens all the time with landscapers in neighborhoods. Sometimes the hoa guys in my neighborhood do this as they are bouncing to and from different areas and forget where they left stuff

Looked into that unit when I hunted 32 as there used to be tons of leftover tags there but not so much anymore. Hat six hunter management area can be good from a discussion with game and fish up there. I think its like a 6 mile by 1 mile area that holds decent antelope. Other than that a lot of private areas and Casper mountain takes up most of the southern boundary and doesnt have much antelope there. It is a very small unit so I decided not to hunt it.

The SST is a great elk round. 3 dead elk at 300, 600, and 600 agree. Might not be the best choice at 100 yds but none of the better bc bullets are.

Some fat rich guy would have shot it and been all proud of his high fence record. Pathetic!!!

Considering that is what Cabelas pays for them from Vortex and they are trying to move them to make way for the new ones its cool that they pass the savings on for once.

I have gone this route before. Barrel will be around $100 give or take. You might get lucky and it headspaces just fine and is a simple barrel swap. Smith might charge you $60. In the event the headspace is way off and more services are required you might get up to $300 total.
