if you are talking about reloading yes both 5.56 nato and .223 use .224 bullets. If you are talking about factory ammo it is not safe to shoot 5.56 nato out of .223 rem
-
The cartridges are not the same specs. I wont get into details as there is a plethora of information regarding the subject already out there. if your rifle is stamped as a .223 it is not safe to shoot 5.56 ammo out of it. I am sure people have shot 5.56 out of .223 but it is not safe and potentially dangerous. Basically the 5.56 design will exceed the saami specs of a .223 chamber quite a bit.

the steering box issue can happen from just mall crawlin
-
Also look into toytec lifts. Made specifically for toyotas. I have one on my 08 fj and it rides great
-
Better check if they fixed the steering rack problem on tundras by 2014. Starting around 2010 if you lifted the tundra at all it was a good chance you would blow out the steering rack. Even with an expensive lift.

I killed two of my bulls wearing blue wranglers. One was at 35 yds. I like wranglers and carharrt for hunting they take the thorns better and are quiter in the brush than most hunting clothing. I will admit the kuiu stuff is pretty nice though.

Deal fell through back up for sale and now include an outdoorsmans stud.

Fixed blade. There has never been a need for mechanicals. Fixed blade fly just fine and work great.

I think the requirement in other states is more so the game and fish can easily spot you and make sure you arent breaking the law. was in wyoming a few years ago with my bro in law and ran into a game warden who was pulled off the side of the road with a spotter on his window. Thought he was looking at deer til i saw two blaze orange vests on the mountainside cleaning a deer. He was just looking and waiting for them to do something wrong. Had they had all camo he probably would have never known thy were there.

Springfield GI 1911 . Never could get through an entire mag with jamming. Usually twice.

Where are you stationed bringwolski? There are good mule deer spots all over the state. You dont even have to drive far depending where you are stationed.

Seems like quality control of the outdoorsmans stud is lacking at best since some have good results and some it leaves the binos loose.
-
With my outdoorsmans stud i have to bring pliers in my pack to turn the twist knob that extra bit to secure it. By hand no matter what they will be loose and tilt to either side. My last two did this and sucks!

A3 branched off of Mossback which was a smart move.

I can tell you in 6a dont even bother cow calling. You will just send the bulls running in the other direction unless you are a seasoned pro at calling. A locater bugle is a good idea but then once you hear the bull just shutup and haul butt to where you think he is. Then listen for him again. If you are close pick up a good sized branch off the ground and do your best imitation of a bull raking his antlers in a tree. That will bring him in fast. Early morning is usually best as it can and will hit 90 degrees by 10 am. Its a harder rut hunt than other units. Those bulls have heard every store bought cow call and the 900 other hunters use the hoochie mama 1000 times a day thinking it is that easy.

A .308 caliber bullet is a .308 caliber bullet no matter what it is fired out of. Just moving a little slower by the time it hits the target.
