Youd be fine either route you take (15's or 12's). Money is the main factor and how much you want to spend. It is nice only having one pair to haul around.

My vote would be Leupold or Zeiss. Best scopes for the money. Go with MOA and SFP unless you like to use retilcles instead of turrets. If you prefer using the reticle for holdover instead of dialing turrets definitely go with FFP. Other than that there really isnt any advantage and you will be paying a few hundred more for a scope in FFP vs the same scope in SFP.

The RZ 800 and 1000 are ballistic reticles with holdover lines below and/or above the main crosshair. The plex is just a crosshair

the VX3 long range models have twin erectors as well. Basically the same as the MK4 scope but I think I remember the MK4's housing is a little beefier.

7rm as far as caliber. Why people think they need a heavy military scope for hunting i will never understand though. Go with something that has better glass like a Zeiss or Swarovski scope. The Nightforce is a heavy chunk of metal with midlevel glass at best. IMO

And to compare used swaro 15's go anywhere from 1300-1500 depending on model. I found mine for $1000.

750 is a great deal for 15x56 conquest hds. Used they are bringing around 1100 on average. Even used kaibabs go for $800-$900

I would put a highly visible camera for all to see, then a couple more hidden small cameras nearby to catch any closer up action. I have had all models and have an unbiased opinion. Compared side by side the zeiss conquest hd and older swaro 15x56 there was no difference in optics. The 12x50 swaros were definitely better, although i still sold those and went back to 15's. The only thing i found was as stated above. The Zeiss were a little harder to focus. That being said it is not worth the difference to get swaros unless money just isnt a big deal to you. You wont go wrong with either 15x56 model.
