Those are the older SLC...not much difference than the NEU other than the coatings on the glass..Clarity and function are identical in both models.

I like them and am all about giving new companies a chance. I have been looking at ordering some 10x42's and think I will go with these guys.

A lot of us probably have 20-30 or more buffalo points. Perhaps 15 or more turkey points if waiting for a goulds tag. As far as your generalization about getting a tag every two years, I'm not buying it. Maybe on elk, definitely on deer, but there is no AZ antelope tag you can get every two years. You might beat the odds a time or two but not consistently. Ahh I see...My antelope hunting is done in Wyoming sorry should've clarified that. I prefer late season for bulls and with my loyalty and hunter ed point I draw late season bull every year or 2. Coues is a yearly hunt obviously.

You're putting in in the wrong units. I have a total of 7 and I draw elk , deer, and antelope every two years. The units I hunt have 350+ bulls, plenty of big coues bucks, and 80"+ Antelope (even though I dont care about shooting a huge one, cant eat antlers) What on earth are you guys with that many points waiting for?

Good luck and DIY is the only way. Guides are the same as high fence ranches. No honor in using one.

I killed my elk 2 years ago with a gravedigger chisel tip. It did the job but no better or worse than the fixed blades I have used.

Slik Carbon Fiber are about the best tripod available. I have never liked the outdoorsmans tripods mainly because they are extremely overpriced and not as good as a Slik or Manfrotto.

The person who hits the animal is supposed to be issued a tag for the animal. that person can let someone else cut the antlers off for them. As long as the person with the tag is there its legal!!
-
Hope the driver that hit him was issued a tag for him.

Great bow. One if Elite's best. Someone will get a great bow.

I would put my $500 tikka up against any custom rifle out there as far as accuracy goes.

It wouldnt be right for you to take one without the other. So i will make the sacrifice and take the other one if you take the big one. Just want to do the right thing !

Is HSM more reliable than they used to be? I tried them years ago and found their specs to be wildly out of whack. Their ammo would not feed reliably. Thats was literally years ago though. -
Looks like flatline's truck

Very easy to replace yourself. Please dont waste money using any ac company. They are the biggest ripoff every single one of them.
-
What was your total cost on that 6.5? I am thinking about building the same thing. Have you had any trouble feeding? Did you use an adjustable gas block?
-
Smart man...that would be my choice if i had one. .300 win mag for me.
-
If i had 12k cash i would buy it from him

I like the leupold better than the vortex. Just my opinion. The vortex glass is slightly better though but the leupold seems to be made better.
