There is a reason no one is watching the Olympics compared to years past. Very few people want to watch NBA teams play against other country's high school teams and no one cares about Phelps anymore. He is old news. Yes a great swimmer, but there is no excitement anymore which is why people use to watch the olympics. Its like watching the Panthers crush the Cardinals.

it wasnt the US that shattered the wirld record by 4 seconds. Was Hungary's Hosszu
-
Hard to watch the regular olympics this year. They should not allow professional athletes to compete. And when someone breaks a world record by 4 seconds and claims they arent doping.....yeah sure ok.

Isnipe if you have an iphone.

Was there a trick to getting the tripod and fluid head? Is that standard or did you just get lucky?

I have used different packs some costing 3-400 and still prefer my$100 jim shockey pack. That Alps you posted would be fine for what you need. Would never spend over $200 for a pack. badlands 2200 or eberle stock x1 and x2 are good and can be had for $200 and under but i would rather have an extrenal frame pack like you posted above.

AZKiller and the 700 is copied from the original mauser action. The 700 in and of itself is one of the least accurate actions, however for years it was the easiest most available action to modify. A modified 700 action can be very accurate, but so can any modified action, but others are built better to begin with and are much harder to work on. -
Interesting...on the other hand, when are men gonna become men again and act like role models and someone they would be proud for their son to turn out like? A huge problem in this country is lack of leadership and lack of men who act like grown men. Really?? Talking about beavers like we are still 16 yr old boys and gossiping like a bunch of women? I am not one to get offended, but definitely one to hold men to a higher standard than what has become the modernly acceptable metrosexual excuse for a man. We need to be role models, leaders in our communities, not afraid to speak up and stand for what is right no matter the cost. Elections arent going to change anything. Men as leaders in our small communities is what can start to turn this country around.

Differences in Swarovski "Generations"
AverageJoe replied to PelaPapas's topic in Optics and tripods
Light green swaros- no swarobright coating which is for cleaning purposes. Same glass as the dark green swaros and slightly heavier than dark green. Should pay no more than $1300 for those and normally found for $1200 Dark green swaros - slighlty lighter and have better coatings for less scratches. Should pay no more than $1500 and can be found for $1300 Swaro hd - better glass, better coatings, lighter, smaller, bigger ocular lens (much better than the tiny ocular lens of the old swaros, i hated those). Brand new are $2300 but can be found used for $18-$1900 -
Yes looks like the sale is over. Its back up to $1000

There are so many brands of camo these days. Everyone and their brother are breaking off and forming a new company. I still prefer carharrt and a sitka shirt.

ill take any year Silverado over any Toyota pickup, and I'll take a newer ram over them too. I don't care for the Toyota pickups. You're totally right about the GM cars and SUV's though, they're greatI own a Toyota Tacoma and a gmc sierra, owned a z71 before and a few c and k 10's my next truck will be a dodge 3/4 ton gas. I love gmc!! But the dodge is calling me! If I was in the market for a diesel I'd pry go ford. If I win the powerball I'll have a GM body, dodge frame and rear end and power stroke attached to an Allison. But that won't happen haha! the new dodges are so nice. But they're still a Dodge. I have had 3. All were pile of shyts. Will Never own another one or recommend one. Last one was a 2014 with you guessed it, transmission problems lol. geez man you have bad luck with your cars. I prefer toyotas as i have never had a toyota give me a problem. My fj has 110k all i have had to replace was an alternator. i have another baby on the way though and might need a true 4 door. -
