Make sure you get the warranty! You'll need it! Just sent three of them to the shop for repair. Two are less than three months old. Not what I expect from honda.

I've been in Plainview Tx. for the last month. I didn't think there could be a place on earth that could make me miss Williston, but I've found it! Driving through palo duro canyon has been the only highlight of this trip.

I would go for the fireball. I've only shot one cooper rifle in 22-250 and as far as accuracy it was everything you could ever hope for.

Leupolds will stand up to just about anything you can throw at them. I've seen them on guns that the recoil will throw 50 lbs of shot off a lead sled and have not seen one broken yet.

It would be a good choice for heli hog hunting!

I have no experience with it, but read about someone from Barnes testing there 120gr bullet they make for the blk out. They claim they took a black bear at 300 yds cleanly, and the bullet penetrated 20".

You might call ten-x they load for the 25-35. It will be cowboy action ammo loaded with lead bullets, but it does go bang. Before I started loading for my 38-55 I was always on the hunt for ammo and ten -x was usually easier to find than winchester. Legendary guns in phx is a ten-x dealer.

Yeah looks like it would be pretty hard unless that log was there before.

I've found a few deer underground. They usually have some help from a lion getting there.

My vote would be for the 700 especially if your planing to customize later. You can find everything for the 700 easy. I have a ruger american compact and the bolt does not cycle very well, kind of hangs up in some spots. Shoots ok other than that.

Accubond is easily the best in that line up. Core loc second -
I want to reload, I need advice....
dse replied to ctracingraptor's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Get the rockchucker kit. Learn to reload on that first. If you shot a ton of pistol and Ar stuff you may want to add a progressive press later. You can load accurate quality ammo on both but its usually easier to do on a single stage. -
How could you pass that up? I always wanted a chance to spit in his face.

130gr swift scirocco, 65 gr of Rl-22, fed 215M primer, winchester brass. I'm getting 1/2 moa and have killed 4 coues bucks between 300 and 500 yds. None have taken a step after the shot.

Fiber resin is what to use to fill the holes. You can use it to just fill or finish the whole top. On a alligater juniper top like that I would just fill the voids with the resin, sand all the saw marks and sharp edges out then apply a clear poly finish followed by at least a dozen coats of finishing wax

If your planning a trip up north a couple stores in prescott usually have it in stock.

As long as the dog is on your side you shouldn't have any problems. I know a few people that have been in that situation, and none of them got jailed. If it should come to that make darn sure the cops know what the shooting was about before they get there. They will be really excited otherwise.

I would get a 12 ga and a baseball bat and enjoy my back yard. If he just gets on the fence help him back over to his own side with the bat. If he gets all the way over use the other option.
