I listened to the meeting. Wards Outfitters was guiding Pat Lefemine the owner of bowsite.com on an archery elk hunt. They were posting a live hunt everyday on bowsite for the world to follow along. The hunt went on for several days then Pat killed a bull. The outfitter claimed he forgot to file reports of his hunts on the Coconino plus he had no forest permit for that forest but remembered to file all their hunts on the Coronado where he did have a forest permit. The USFS said they had notified him about forest permits. The Game Commission said, you put us in this position and suspended their Outfitters license for 5 years. It was interesting listening to that case.

If there were political athletes in the Olympics when I was a kid I didn’t notice it I was just watching the games but today with all this transgender, woke, PC stuff and being all over the news and social media…it’s not for me.

A little before my time…what happened in 68

I listened to the game commissions meeting on 12/10. They had a call in period and people would call in who were wanting to end and or limit the hunting of lion, bear and bobcat. They all read the same letter saying the same thing but they were getting their point across. You can go to the AZG&F web site and listen to any of their meetings.

When I was a kid the olympics were a family affair but ever since the athletes became political I quit paying any attention to it.

The AZG&F Commission suspended this outfitters license for 5 years at the December 10th meeting in Yuma.

Just remember you would never of heard of any of the well known outfitters in AZ if they hadn’t dared to take a chance and become outfitters. Life is short, if that’s what you want to do get after it. Outfitting isn’t any different than any other business it depends on how good of a business man you are and how much hard work you put in. AZG&F says they haven’t heard from hunters, well you would think they would know that all the hunters, res and non res don’t want to ban anything. If they start banning animals to hunt they will ban their self right out of businesses. AZG&F knows where hunters stand.

The best boots I’ve ever owned are the Lowa Tibet GTX. They were great right out of the box, never have had any trouble in some of this nasty terrain here in NM. I do put boot wax or cream on them and then spray them with silicone. I’ve never owned a pair of water proof boots that stayed waterproof if you didn’t wax/cream and spray them.

I’ve been seeing a lot of this everywhere lately, Critical Race Theory. CRT. Can someone explained in simple English what the heck is it......I hear the kids are being taught CRT and so many parents seem to be against it. But like most things today because of PC no one can come out and just tell it like it is.

How about where some people are calling for the flag to be redesigned, they say it’s racist....the red, white and blue...old glory, the same flag that so many good Americans died for.

I am a big country fan of old CM but today’s so called country music is a joke, young kid music, bubble gum music. The CM today is a mix of the Backstreet Boys, Lady Gaga, Micheal Jackson and Taylor Swift. I don’t even bother trying to listen to it anymore. O’l Waylon must be shakin his head.

Thanks. When I first started buying AZ elk points it was taking 8 pts for 27 and 9 or 10 for a unit 1 early archery tag then AZG&F changed everything and it knocked guys backwards 8 to 10 years. If I had known that AZG&F would screw over point holders like they did I never would have started buying points in AZ to start with.
