Any time I hear about an outfitter or any one for that matter that poaches I always think they should come down hard on them because if not what will keep people from thinking that if they have waited for many years to draw the tag they want and can't seem to get lucky and draw it why not just poach it . If they see people/outfitters getting away with poaching why can't they. Any outfitter who poaches or breaks the law to benefit a client should have their license revoked and banned from hunting for life. They need to lead by example or pay the price and the price should be high !!

17 points is a LONG time !! If you know the unit and if you are hard core have at it. I would not hunt 23N and not make the absolute best out of it and if that meant hiring a one time guide hire one !! It's your tag, your hunt, your money. Should you get drawn remember chances are you won't see another 23N tag for a LONG, LONG time. On that hunt I would want all the odds stacked in my favor !! Good luck in the draw.

Watched J B Mooney in Vegas this year riding bulls . He broke his jaw on one bull then the next night through wired shut teeth when asked about riding again with a broken jaw that night said ....You don't need your face to ride bulls... and scored a 86. One tough S.O.B. !!!

Two things you need to realize.... 1 if you are just towing around town and mainly using a truck as your daily driver and not really hauling with it then buy anything gas, diesel it doesn't matter. 2 If you are going to be towing long distance's or if you will be hauling heavy and often......Diesel is the only way to go. There is a reason why all the gas/oil companies , Construction companies, 5TH wheel campers, Utility companies etc. all run diesel pickups. Good luck.

The Ford with a 7.3 is as good as it gets if it has been taken care of. I have owned two of them, bought them both new and can't ever remember either one being in the Ford shop for repairs but......if you can find a newer Ford with the 6.7 diesel in it buy it !!! As much as I loved the 7.3 1ton this 6.7 1 ton I have is a MONSTER for sure. A lot more power and better fuel MPG. IMHO just a great truck and it will tow anything easily that you hook to it. These big diesel pickups cost more to maintain and diesel fuel cost more but if you're going to be towing and I don't mean just around town then they are the right tool for the job.

I put in online but I did write a check 9 days ago to the RMEF and just yesterday received a copy of the check with online banking. So it can take a while.

I don't care what they do to the draw process. They can print it in Chinese or make you deliver your app. by pigeon if they want to but one thing is for sure I will NEVER miss the AZ elk draw application and that's a fact !!!

Man there might be things that I slack off on but putting in for the AZ elk draw ain't one of them. I might miss a house payment, might forget the wifes birthday might even forget today is payday but you can bet that about the second week you can put in ....it's a done deal !!

It's like the guy on the interstate that sees the flashing sign's for 3 miles....Right Lane Closed.... and races past everyone then cuts the last guy off to get in front of everyone then has to get on the brakes causing a bottle neck instead of just getting over when everyone else does and keep it moving smooth.......Couple of weeks ago it took me just a couple of minutes to apply and get my license printed.....Go figure.
