Found this guy in December down south while helping a buddy on a muzzleloader hunt. Can't wait to get out in 2012 and pick up some brownies!

I am looking for a pistol grip and possibly a tripod, grip combo. I have used the outdoorsmans grip and obviously had no complaints, but I am wondering if there is anything comperable for a little cheaper out there. I don't care for the horizontals or the plastic cheaps. Just wanted to check for a comperable grip and opinions before I spend the money?

Took this guy last day of the hunt in a tough unit. Got on him 5 days prior hearded up with a good group of does and some small forkies. After searching for bigger bucks (lack of bucks period) for the rest of the week, I got back on this guy on the final evening of the hunt about 8 miles away from the first area by himself and made a good shot. I was surprised to see how far he traveled... Nice example of what hunting pressure does to a heard. He wasn't huge by any means but after a tough hunt I was pleased to have a deer. He was an older regressing buck with some interesting character and surprisingly some of the best tasting meat I have had (unusual for an old desert buck). This was a great hunt.
