Ok really, I meet stupid people making crazy decisions all the time. But this one has me baffled. LEss then three months ago you purchase the mount of the WORLD RECORD Coues whitetail deer. You put it in your store in Buda Texas, ( OF ALL PLACES). First the World Record was killed right here in Az, LEts keep it in Az. Its a gorgeous Buck. Why not keep it for your new store openin in Phoenix. Second, you put it in Texas, guys kill deer bigger then the World Record Couse Whitetail EVERYDAY. They see it on the wall, do not appreciate it, wonder what it is doing, it is overshadowed by Whitetails twice the size. I mean who thought to do this? And you do not hunt Coues in Texas. I want this mount back in Az. As do I am sue many of us Coues hunters. Many of you probably have never seen the mount. In fact unless in Cabellas cause it sat with Eds wife until the first of this year. DO I make sense or am I out of line here? The deer will get MUCH MORE appreciation going into their new store then anywhere else.

Anyone used this range finder? it seems very nice. not the newest one with the Artc featurs but the older black one from last year. it retails for around 400 bucks. anyone?

I hunt in 36B, Rocky, desert, brown.... well right now it is green. PIcs of a monster buck shaping up for this season. Been scouting every weekend. Getting ready to put up some trail cams. 8 hour drive each way every weekend. Or most... its that time of year

What is a huntin back everyone has had great luck with? I am looking to hunt with one and maybe have a camelback in it, not real sure yet.

i had an RXII and it worked flawless and was awesome. I came home one day and it was gone. I swear someone came in and took just the rangefider

They have hats, gloves, shirts, jackets, etc. You can purchase a pair of pants, 4 shirts, jacket, hat, gloves for under 100 bucks. This stuff fits well and is comfortable. It is the best thing I ahve found to match the SW desert. I even bought myu new stock from Bell and Carlson which has the same pattern on it.

In a heartbeat I would, You take a picture with your buck on your wall, get a special plaque made and turn it into a 27x35 picture where your buck once was or even in a better place. Millions of people will get to see your buck each year. I wuld be proud. When in the store it lists you as the owner and killer if you were. They are professional about it. They also cut you that check for $$$$ BIG $$$$ World records do not happen everyday. Your even still listed in B&C as the killer. The thing with this buck is not everyone knows what a coues deer is and in texas where a 160" deer is common which is almost 20" bigger then the world record, no one will respect the mount.

youd be coorrect sir, I have a bunch more pics I have to sort through. i have 10 big ones in one pic standing on the side of a clif. I had my boat on lake mead and I have a channel I go up and can find them every time. I also have a spot I drive ot on the az side of the lake and know where a huge heard of them are.

I am looking for a family friends mount. I have tried contacting people at Cabellas who purchased the world Record mount last year from Eds late wife and they will not provide info which makes NO sense to me. I presume it may end up in the Phoenix Cabellas but no one can confirm this. I would think it would be on record some where. Any Ideas?

Id really like to know the draw results. I mailed a check in this year as I did not have time ot get on the computer. GRRRRRRR I would probably know by now otherwise. I want results. I have seen a few people on here talk about getting the ressults somewhere on the AZGFD webstie but it is tricky. Heck if you can do it plug all our info in there. WE WANT RESULTS

Where would i want to put in for to go and hunt Coues deer in new Mexico? I will be headed form Vegas and want to drive their and set up camp and go hunting... Nay ideaS? I ned some land that is nto all provate properties As I will not have permission first. I do nto think it is like Az that you go just about anywhere.

I want to come to New Mexico and hunt Coues deer next year. I was wondering what area are the best to hunt in? Any place online that shows details of this good unit? I usually hunt in Southern Az. and would like ot also hunt New Mexico as well. about when do we have to put in for the draw?

I got drawn for Javelina. but I am not understanding the area I was drawn for. under Hunt # it says 5028 permit # 000156 unit description - Any Javelina then it has my start and finish date. Feb 24th Mar whatever What unit did I get drawn under?

NOTHING easy about hunting Coues deer. Rugid terrain, miles of hiking up steep hills, sliding down rocky faces, oh yea... and when you get one their is the drag out to the car or nearest road.......

I am leaving now to go set up camp in 36b. WE will be my the water tank and old windmimll just outside of arivaca. WE will be in and out of Arivoca all weekend though. i have a trailer that i use behind the jeep. I wish i had it. I screwed this paint job all up on this rental truck and need to buff it really bad before i return it. Any suggestions? Oh y ea..... it was a great hunt too...
