Going TO 3B NORTH THIS FRIDAY FOR A COW ELK HUNT, MY SUPERINTENDENT HAS A TAG DOES ANY ONE HAVE ANY ADVICE THANKS

Unit 35b has late December tags still available I have never hunted that unit is it that bad that know one even wants to hunt the late hunt there or is it worth a try can any one advise thanks

I was lucky enough to draw a strip tag several years ago when there was 200 inch bucks hitting the ground all over the place. With not having much time to scout and zero knowledge of the unit I hired a guide, that turned out to be a very wise investment. In the span of 8 days I saw 14 deer over 190 and was able to tag out on a 215 inch buck that was almost 36 inches wide. I think it all comes down to how much time and money you have to scout the strip is truly an amazing place like none other I have been. I did have a friend draw the tag two years ago he did it all himself and shot a deer that wasn't near as big as he thought it was when he pulled the trigger. He still thinks he may have made a mistake by not hiring a guide. What ever you decide have a great hunt and good luck.

My daughter drew a unit 7 rifle antelope tag with only 4 points I keep telling her how lucky she is but I don't think she believes me. I was wondering if I could get some feed back from some one else on how many bonus points they had when they drew this tag or how many they have and are still trying to draw this tag, thanks

My daughter drew the first hunt in this multiple unit hunt ,was wondering if anybody had any thoughts on where to go. Any help would be greatly appreciated she just turned 13 and is really excited for an opportunity to kill her first gobbler she also drew a bull elk tag and a antelope tag she has been on quite a luck streak lately.

Me and my daughter drew bull tags with only 4 points between us I drew a rifle bull tag last year also and also got drawn for antelope with 13 point muzzle loader first choice rifle second

Got hit for elk i just don't no if it's mine or my daughters she reminded me i can sign mine over to hers. If its my unit 21 rifle bull i don't think so

My daughter Tessa shot her first javelina on the last day of the juniors pig hunt. After several days of hunting and many miles of hiking and glassing she was able to connect on a 170 yard shot with her Remington youth model 243 with the help of a tripod with the claw attached that thing was rock steady . She feels very confident with this set up she has taken her deer with it as we'll hopefully we will get to use it for elk this year . It's a great way to spend time with her I'm very fortunate that she enjoys it as much as me .

My gun is almost finished i thought i would ask every one again about scopes that can go out to over 1000 yards i appreciate all the help i have heard alot of good things about night force and vortex seems to be gaining in popularity thanks

Looking for recommendations for a scope for a long range rifle anyhelp would be greatly appreciated

What is the magnification on your scopes this stuff is all new to me so i really appreciate your help i keep readig on all these scopes still not sure what i want i have not heard anything negative about the nightforce also good reports from leupold what reticle do you have on yur nxs thanks J.R.

I'm looking for a gun for my daughter to hunt big game she is small for her age. I want something she can shoot that will not have to much recoil but enough power to take deer and elk. I would appreciate any help i can get thanks
