There is at least 5 other bucks that we saw.

If you can't adjust for the wind at that distance you should not have taken that shot you were very fortunate to have recovered your deer it takes lots of practice in all conditions to make shots at that distance

Me and my daughter were both fortunate enough to draw elk tags this season even though my wife does not participate with us on the hunts , she fully supports us on our endeavors. So this year she is having Thanksgiving this Sunday so we can all take part in it as a family. I personally think this is awesome that she thinks this much about us that she is willing to change her holiday season for us. I'm truly blessed to have such a great wife that supports what I do and is willing to make sacrifices for me and our family , thanks Christi

You don't have to be successful to have a successful hunt I have learned that from my 40 years of hunting

The Extreme is a little hard to make out

If they are taking this long on the spring hunts can only imagine what the upcoming draw will be like

I had that tag last year in 3 days of hunting I only saw 1 other hunter saw a lot of elk saw a lot of 300 class bulls took a 320 bull in 2006 I took a 380 bull on the early muzzle loader hunt good luck

My 13 year old daughter and myself both drew 3b muzzy bull tags this will be her first elk hunt she is excited and really wants to take a nice mature bull as well. As for me my number one goal is to help her fill her tag because she really needs to be back in school on Monday good luck to every one.
